I disagree. The art-style of battletoads 2019 suits the genre well, plus I like the new 3d turbo tunnel
The turbo tunnel looks good but the toads look like from a cartoon reboot (and not a good one) the style is the only thing I would change
I actually thought the new one would be 3d and follow the killer instinct type of designs.
Actually the designer wanted to make them like that for what I saw on news in internet
It's amazing how, no joke, they look better in 8-bit than the "Thundercats Roar-esque" reboot design.

My favorite Battletoads & Double Dragon (NES) I remember my life from this game. I just adore her, but in spite of nostalgia I’ll say that the arcade game is cooler.

The 2019 one looks to be suffering from the same lazy art and animation that's plaguing modern cartoons. Also, the Dark Queen (4:13) looks to have turned into a ten year old emo. It's a no from me.
What is with that cartoon style? Doesn't have to be realistic but even when I was a kid I hated that Ben10 show and stuff
It's simplistic cause kids nowadays view all their shit through their tablets/phones so a basic simple artstyle is needed to both hold their attention as well as be easy to see on a smaller screen.

Ah, those unforgettable nineties. I tortured this game of pegasus day and night. The ability to play two people was a blast. Playing with my friend in two, we pitted each other as soon as there were no opponents until one of us fell.
i found playing two player made the game truley unbeatable as we always hit each other especially levels like the pit you rope down

This game deserves a game with the same graphics as killer instinct, side scroll pure action with long levels and story, all evil characters included with No alterations (maximum effort in a NEW bike level of course) some skins, and all of the previous Battle toads games included in HD remaster, and all that in a gold disc with metal box that has the logo of the toads.
And then only then it will sell like fucking hot cakes!!!!!

When the new battletoads was announced before gameplay was shown, I honestly thought they were gonna draw the NES Sprites, but instead, WHAT DO THEY DO? they make it too much like a cartoon series like rise of the tmnt

@Nightmare I was hearing left and right that Bear and Bird weren't going to be in smash because they are owned by Microsoft now, just like the Battletoads. They are both classic rare games with origins on Nintendo consoles, how do they have nothing to do with eachother?
@Nightmare Either way, whatever you and I heard apart from one another, it's not impossible for them to join the Smash roster somewhere down the line, if Banjo and Kazooie where able to make it. At the end of the battletoads arcade we hear the final boss say "I'll be back", we never got another full battletoads game after that so that being said after 25 years I'm happy we are getting anything new in 2019, I went my whole life accepting the arcade as the final game and playing them on rare replay so I'll definitely be supporting the new game, this is also the first battletoads game that could have dlc and online multiplayer.
Are you trolling? It would be better to not have a new game at all. Also, who wants DLC? We want to get a full game, not to be milked for money endlessly.

на денди само адекватно выглядит, на сеге впринцепе картинка тоже не плоха но сильно уступает звук по сравнению с денди. ну и кстати пасхалка с шовел кнайта выглядит неплохо, я думаю если бы им отдали делать новую часть они лучше бы сделали, подтянули бы физику, звук нормальный вставили бы и была-бы огонь игра.
