The evil genius, Silas Volkmire, and his sidekick, the Dark Queen, have kidnapped the daughter of a well-renowned scientist and Zitz, one of the Battletoads. Now the remaining 'Toads, Rash and Pimple, must rescue the two captives and stop the deadly duo from fulfilling their plans to control the world.
In this movie the toads seem to recall that they are Ninja Turtles rivals. Whenever they snatch a minute, they master their martial arts techniques, not caring that it's not ninjutsu and just straight brutality.
The author, Dooty ( tasvideos.org/... ), improves the previous movie ( tasvideos.org/... ) by 00:48.35 seconds thanks to better manipulation and some new tricks.

Rash and Pimple fought each other more than they fought the bad guys and I'm living for the drama.
Really enjoyed the fact that the "The End'" screen was left on for a bit to enjoy the music after witnessing such entertainment and masterpiece. Excellent job!

this is exactly how me and my friends would play this game, just beating each other up and trying to throw the other person off cliffs constantly. i guess its like it minus the part where you actually beat the game.
Love the pharaphrased line from Street Fighter 1 when you beat the Dark Queen.

its a tool assisted run. there was many instances where they should have died they are basically using cheats
Watching a less than 20 minute TAS, of a game that took me a summer to beat, is next level depressing.
it made me feel better that it takes a computer play this well. this game was super frustrating when i was a kid

My mouth dropped on level 3 (bike level). Holy smokes. That was amazing.
More friendly fire damage than done by enemies

I can't imagine what they put Zitz through after saving him.
It reminds me of the chapter of Evangelion when Shinji and Azuka had to synchronize movements, Brutal Speed Run 👍
Another fantastic RARE game, featuring impressive music, tried and true gameplay concepts from the original, and improved controls from the original games; just as well since this is a LOT harder than even the first NES game.

Thus game was too good, the ideas and ingenuity that went into it was simply fantastic. This and battletoads double dragon forever live in my heart. I actually beat battletoads double dragon for SNES after 100 tries or so. Did it solo and no cheats and it was so satisfying. And everyone knows how NES and SNES games were notoriously hard so if you beat 1 you are a legend or master to some degree

Correct me if I'm wrong, but could the first bonus game not have been done a little faster if they'd avoided pins, and thus had less/no countdown of bonus points?
Was thinking similar but they avoid pins later and there’s still a lot of dead air. Usually safe bet to assume in a published TAS that anything that looks wasteful isn’t actually wasting time

If the entire game was a beat-em-up like the first level it would have been one of the best games on the SNES, but the dev team decided to smoke crack during development.

I always pause scammed my way through the rail jet level. I hated seeing my guy get cut in half.
That bonus game just goes on and on. Not as good as the other Battletoad games
