P.S. forgot to mention: the integration will also automatically create a lead within the CRM for you if you receive a text from a new number OR if a person doesn't already exist in the CRM after a call is completed (set to whatever threshold you'd like - we set ours to only do this if the call is longer than 1 minute to keep out any spam calls from logging) 🚀

Can you support text to speech logging with Dialpad or is that a logistical nightmare with different laws? I could imagine a lot of businesses could benefit from being able to search the contents of conversations.

That's actually built right within Dialpad in their "call review" screen. It's super cool, does sentiment analysis and some AI tech (Dialpad acquired an AI company not too long ago). But it's disabled unless you turn it on, and you can have it auto-enable and optionally have it say "this call will be recorded for XYZ".
Actually logging all of the transcripts into the CRM isn't currently possible though since Dialpad doesn't include it in their API response on call end.

I am new to Dialpad and I've been using Pipedrive for 2+ years. Our rep at Dialpad is telling us they do Not have an integration for Pipedrive, how do you suggest we integrate Dialpad as our phone system with our Pipedrive CRM ? Great video! Giving us tons of hope for a smooth integration. Thank you.

Congrats on picking Dialpad (it's what we also use internally and we love it). But yeah, it doesn't really integrate out of the box with Pipedrive/Copper, etc.
Integrating Dialpad with Pipedrive would be a custom integration, which is what we do:

If you fill out the software audit form, happy to exchange a bit more information to see if we can help:

So the integration you show in the video between dial pad and copper is not a native integration? Its something that you built? @@efficientapp

Yes, correct. They do have a beta integration, though it's a bit buggy and not as fully featured. Plus we're unsure if it's even still properly supported. You can give it a shot though:

Your link to sign up for the Dialpad integration is very confusing. Is it required to fill in the form for a consultation? As in one cannot just purchase the integration? I like to know if the integration is in my budget so do not want to waste anyone's time. Also, is there an integration available for Dialpad and Folk? (Seems to be limited functionality for using Dialpad and Folk using Zapier.) I haven't used either Folk or Copper and I'm not really techy...

Hey Rene, apologies for the confusion there, completely understand. So this is an older video when we were more of an integration company. You're correct in understanding that it's a custom integration. We have only built it for the major CRMs listed (not Folk).
We use it internally for ourselves alongside Copper CRM, and it's a pretty involved custom integration. You can probably use something like Zapier or Make to build it, but yeah, it's at minimum a 4-figure/mo investment (it would only make sense if other things are being automated as well), but yeah, we'd recommend using a tool like Aircall efficient.link/r/aircall that has more native integrations with various CRMs. We probably wouldn't have justified paying this to get it integrated at our team size, but because we built it ourselves to learn, it made sense at the time. Apologies for the frustration here!
We're focusing our efforts moving forward on helping more people at scale versus one-off customers. Hope you can understand, and apologies again!

@@efficientapp Thanks so much for the clarification and the quick response saved us both time if I had filled out info on your site. I'm definitely not in that price range. The Aircall doesn't fit for me because of the 3 line minimum. Looks like it is down to using Copper with the limited functionality or going with another CRM with the phone built in.

So you can try this native integration between Copper + Dialpad, have just heard it's a bit inconsistent and not super fully featured or supported: efficient.link/integrations/dialpad-copper
Totally hear you on the Aircall 3 line minimum, that's ridiculous and frustrating. Would recommend OpenPhone efficient.link/r/openphone but there's no native integration either.
Possibly JustCall is the only other option efficient.link/r/justcall that I know has a native integration.

Is this restricted to these specific Crms

    • @efficientapp
      @efficientapp  9 месяцев назад +2

So since it's a custom integration, it could work with any CRM that has an API, that said, the CRM software that we're talking about in the video are some of the main B2B CRMs that we know have the required API.
So short answer, no, more CRMs than listed, just requires a good API.
