How to pick a CRM in 2024 (in 30 seconds):
❌ Don’t use freebies like Airtable or Notion as a CRM. They won’t ingest emails, and lack basic CRM features.
❌ Don’t use HubSpot or Salesforce if you have less than 300 employees.
✅ Do consider folk crm if you’re soloprenuer or small team and want to focus on contact and relationship management.
✅ Do consider Copper CRM if you want a CRM to map out processes and want to integrate it with other B2B SaaS tools for workflows (Google Workspace only).
✅ Do consider Pipedrive if you want the above point, but are using Microsoft 365.

    What about Salesforce?

Do you have 1,000+ employees? If so, might be okay (depending on your line of work), if not, watch this video and it'll clear things up: efficient.yt/crm

How about Hubspot? Or using Monday or ClickUp as a CRM?

Highly recommend keeping away from Monday and ClickUp as a CRM, we have a whole page and video dedicated to the best CRM here: efficient.link/crm
That said, HubSpot isn't recommended because it gets out of control with pricing (seems free at the start, but it gets crazy quickly). The main question is, are you using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
The full write-up and video here should answer all your questions though! efficient.link/crm

what are your thoughts on Attio

Attio is on our review list, have been keeping an eye on it for a couple years now. It's sorta right in-between a folk and Copper in a sense. You'll have a much easier time setting up and using folk, but Attio might scale a bit better when talking about 20+ team members, but it still remains to be seen how it goes at the larger teams that a tool like Copper works well for and integrates deeply with. You'll get far more integrations and a more robust API with Copper.
That said, have heard of some VC firms finding good success with it and they are finding a niche in the market. Would like to do a deeper dive on it in the coming months though.

@@efficientapp ok dope. i messed around with it and folk last night and within a couple minutes found it more powerful than folk. i like the look of it as well. also, as folk and attio are newer compared to copper and pipedrive, as well as them having AI integrations, i expect them to move faster and be more innovative. i’m hoping for a CRM that works really well with AI and i think Attio is really wanting to do that. plus being a startup, they move way faster. i also like the UI way more than copper and pipedrive. i do wish they had that timeline feature pipedrive has, as a visual representation of when you last contacted all your leads on an over-arching view is super nice, but i’ve only seen pipedrive do this out of the 4. ithere workflow automations are also really nice. and since you can create “objects” (ie “company” “people” etc) and then use the relationship data field, it’s almost like a no-code Bubble.io for CRMs. just wish you could adjust the design of a “record” page to your liking. that would be freakin sick.
one downside of attio compared to folk is the extreme lack of video tutorials. Folk is the best out of copper and attio in this regard for recent videos. but maybe i just don’t know how to search things and find good demo videos where people show their setups in depth.

Makes sense, we'll continue to keep an eye on Attio, interesting to hear your take on what makes them stand out. And yeah, would imagine since they are newer they don't have as much related video content. It's on our watch list and at a certain point we might decide to feature them, but it won't be quite yet!
