I am quite worried about this guy's forearm suffered from poor blood circulation. Not sure if this is the way to pull the watch band so tight making sure the hrm works as it suppose to be.
As owner of a Venu 1 I can confirm that the watch and the Garmin ecosystem performs very well. There is a big risk with OLED screens though. After 2 years and 6 months I found myself with a screen that is practically unusable due to burn (dead pixels). Garmin refuses to replace the screen. The repair cost is more than half the original purchase price... I never activated Always On Display and the watch did not suffer any damage.
Any insights on why you/they changes (broke in my opinion) the controls menu??? On other Venu's and vivo active, you get all the icon along the edge, so you can easily select anyone with just a click. No no endless swiping up first. At least "mirror" the current one and give it so "gain", so if you do a full swipe on the icon's, it will move further than a single screen. Kinda simulating the menu being a pie slice of a big wheel.
I was so happy with mine until I got in a car and it recorded hundreds of steps. In total, for a 2 hour return journey, it added 1000 steps. Such a silly issue to have with a fitness tracket.
Please help me...I'm feeling so lost! 😪 I just got a venu3. How can I display my current altitude (i.e. altimeter) on the home screen? This is easily possible with suunto, for example. Thank you for any help!
Don't bank on all these features working correctly. I have the Venu 2 Plus and Google assistant hasn't worked for over a year now, no sign of when the fix is coming. At one point they'd messed up Garmin pay and it was taking payment from the wrong card. I like the Venu watch but Garmin are a let down sometimes with their software functionality. Venu 2 owners feel abandoned by the slow fixes to software, not good enough for a premium watch. I bet the new software features on the Venu 3 won't be rolled out to the Venu 2 Plus either.
Wow... That's when you realize Garmin isn't Apple! Initially, I thought this video might be a joke, but it's genuinely from Garmin. Seriously, folks, any RUclipsr reviewing your watches does a better job of selling them than what you're doing here.
I'm really glad Garmin isn't Apple. Garmin has actual customer support for one. Having said that - this is useful for what it is but an actual voiceover instead of an AI voice would have been nice.

Was think his watch is eating his arm 🤣
Geez
@@gtrim-vz2ty…
I don't think that is his forearm on the top. He has his watch sitting right at the wrist joint, so that is his hand that you see on top.

Venu 3's screens are amoled, not OLED
I think the guy in the video is about to start having necrosis of his hand. The strap is too tight. Garmin, don't kill people! 😂

I wish they made a Venu 3 and Venu 3 Plus similar to Venu 2.
Also I don't understand the need of the physical marks on the screen.
Love Garmin… but this dude is going to cut off the blood circulation to his hand… damn boiiii!
if your had ain't purple, its not tight enough.
let him cook and lose the arm
Can I select a contact and send a message? Does it have a virtual qwerty keyboard?
Do we have resume later feature that silently not implemented in venu 2?

Any way to get metronome working on Venu 3?

well wrist movement fixes it, if you move wheel you move. I make about 4km of movement with my arms while working stationary and walking indoors :D
The thing is I was a passenger at the time and I kept my hand/arm still but it was still counting steps @@leodoingthings1706

Anyone know if this is a 3 or 3S? Trying to get an idea on size.
3, 3s dont exist yet
@@FullJikamasure they do. They were released last year in the U.S.
@@bluesteblue7822 This one is a 3. The 3s has a slimmer watch band and smaller face.
Why there is no pause for training!!
There is. When in a training activity, top button pause, then same button continues
Does the watch show altitude?
Yes

What part of this would be the joke? This seems to be more geared as an instructional quick start guide rather than a promotional or sales commercial.

This is not a review..
This is pretty good explanation video for new users imo.
Can't focus : keep waiting for the arm to turn blue / too much hair / wait, is that Homer Simpson? Pick one... @@faruk3007
