I can't think of any chefs of Julie's caliber who have the same humility, sense of self-worth, and discipline to go from a high-powered Michelin environment to the much more accessible farmers market, simply for the purpose of bringing high-quality food to people without the crazy price tag. She's so one-of-a-kind - a true gem! Thank you for bringing the spotlight to her 🌟

    Hi Julie
Thank you for taking the risk and coming to New Zealand, I wish you and your future family every success and may you find joy in everyday. Kiwi's are a strange bunch we trust easy and we invite people into our lives, may you be surrounded by people who mutually add and give to one another's life experiences. It warms my heart when people from other cultures who are so talented they would be welcomed by any country but choose little old New Zealand.
He tangata, he tangata, he tangata - It is people, it is people, it is people

Yes ! Totally agree with your comments ! I quite enjoyed watching this beautiful documentary of such a beautiful soul who is so humble , truly gifted hands and incredible imagination on how to create delight to the taste buds and to the eyes! At a cost that opens up this world to many of us who can part with some of our earnings to sample delectable delights without us breaking the bank.
Her story brought tears to my eyes …. Her love and understanding of her parents LOVE 💕. She went forward in life moving forward NOT as a victim of her circumstances BUT TO BLOOM into all her GLORY to create her LIFE worthy of genuine respect from all around her.
It is refreshing to watch this instead of the wokeness we see today parading on our media channels.
People can CHANGE their lives , if ONLY they have the right attitude of personal responsibility…. Yeah … it means sacrifices and sheer hard work.
You got a new subscriber…. I want to see more people like Julie . Bring us their stories. People are not broken ….shift your mindset. If you think you are broken ….then how can you ever feel strong and grow stronger?
