2:57 there's something hilariously magical about seeing, from another perspective, you flying over mid, disappearing out of view, and then seeing the kill feed light up as you nuke almost the entire enemy team offscreen as you scream your lungs out.
@@cyscossafehouse352 Yeah exactly. And regardless comp 6s (and highlander btw) has class limits and other restrictions anyway to make the game function amazingly in comp.
the sandblast clip gets me cuz you get to first see the firing of the crossbow, pov switches as if you somehow heard that across the map and went "target acquired", jumping towards him, pov switches back and then the whole "The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't" plays out, and you use him as basically a way to relaunch yourself back into the air, and back to safety. what kinda gmod/sfm skit is this? not only have you figured out to use the beggars mechanic of overloading into jumping which is a nice feature in of itself, you've learned how to turn your very enemies you destroy into portal aerial faith plates for your own easy retreat. amazing stuff, between you and blindpyro, I hope to learn the beggars to that degree.
Haven't actively played TF2 in 8 years now. Seeing this made me feel like a kid again, staring in awe and wonder at some of the best players back then.
Why do you shoot a rocket before landing in a skybox spot btw? I think you’re unloading additional rockets but it almost looks like you’re deliberately shooting a specific spot
@@hardboiled2987I think its probably just getting rid of a rocket loaded to push him up if he doesn’t do his jump too well or store up the barrage preemptively. He picks that general location because of the same reason those spots work; nobody looks up, thus nobody will see the rockets.
This video is PROOF that what I've been telling my friends for months now is the truth, that beggar's is the best roamer's rocket launcher in the game without question nine times out of ten. And Antoni, thank you so much for signing my beggar's the other day, I can't think of anyone's autograph I'd rather have on a beggar's that stacked.
If you use a good but off-meta weapon, it fries comp players brains. How has no one discovered it? Because comp players refuse to switch off what's meta and experiment.
The beggars bazooka.used to be my go to Rocket Launcher back in the day, it's stupid, it's dumb, and above all it's fun. I kinda stopped using it after realizing my victims fly the hell away on the first rocket due to knock back, but seeing this video has inspired me to use it again. It's gonna be fun >:D
i hope we get to see more new things in comp tf2, meta weapons and tactics may be good. But there has to be a wildcard every so often to entertain viewers and increase popularity. (and possibly even develop a new meta/strategy)
or any esports in general. Like that one time where a professional Tekken player won against the whole roster by using what is considered to be a bottom tier character, Panda.
on a viewership perspective it's much like combat sports like boxing or MMA. Everyone likes an effective fighter, but everyone LOVES to watch a unique/entertaining fighter. Of course, this is probably going to take a while as it needs someone dedicated and skillful enough to actually pull off this kind of shit in a competitive setting.
What a great weapon. Hate that it's been nerfed multiple times but it's still a really fun sidegrade if you put in the work to use it. No way to shoot two or three rockets faster, and you never need to worry about reloading since single shot spam is only ~20% slower than stock's firing speed. The deviation honestly teaches good principles for playing soldier as well, strange as it seems. It often shows that airshots are more about positioning and understanding movement than aim, and teaches you to be above your opponents at all times. I also love deciding that I don't want to actually bomb a group of enemies and using a second or third overload to just jump back before landing.
tbh the beggars is viable. since you only fire when holding m1, you essentially have an infinite clip if you literally spam click your mouse, and it fires so much faster than your normal rocket launcher. you don't have to worry about no ammo in your clip because you practically have 23 ready to be loaded instead of 4 the random spread means nothing if you dumping 3 rockets at the same time cover every part of around where you aim, meaning you clear more area than if you were to fire one rocket every 0.5 seconds
The health management to the player using the beggars was insane. Are we witnessing the new comp meta? Batshitcrazy soldier?
no, stock is still better in any single way

love your genuine enthusiasm for the game

To think, it used to be that constantly loading it kept three rockets in the chamber, guaranteeing three ticket bombs.
