Running 100+ mph on our local river 1983 hydrostream vector and a triad built STV river racer along with some of our friends we picked up along our ride.
Like 1976 we were fishing and camping on an island just south of Astor. Three badass boats pull up, at least one was a Stream, and said can we drop off all these skis and stuff? We want to make a fast, long run. Couple of big coolers full of beer. Got real dark and they hadn't returned. Drank some of the beers for investigative purposes. Noon next day. Here they come. Could not believe their stuff was still there. Cool dudes. Started my Streamdays.
Makes me wish I never sold my white Vector, or my ole STV Pro Comp either... God willing I'll find something one of these days, really wanting a Laser 380 or any of the copies of one like the Starcraft Eagle or whatever..

I think he blew up a motor before the weekend we were running. Atleast that’s what tony told me
@@daltonvondran_turner9321 I wonder if he is still running that ported 2.5 EFI. I watched him do the porting and polishing in Conant’s shop years ago.

What's setup on the vector, is that a Bob's 5 inch riser plate instead of a Jack plate? Thank you
It’s a 4” hydrodynamics manual jack plate plate the boat has a total of 6 inches of set back
