Before installing the motor you have to solder the wires. Now, how to solder the wires based on polarity??.....
I have an idea. These motors already have a set of screws which connects the yellow casing. When you look at those screwa in such a way that the motor is on your left side and the shaft is on your right, then most probably the top terminal is GND and the bottom is +. This is from my experience.

you are right.. solder before installation but on other side terminals we may change if the rotation of direction changes

hello, my kit did not come without the wires for the motors nor the bag of screws and stuff. I can manage without the screws, but can i use jumper wires instead of the motor wires or should i buy a new kit?

AA, 1.5 volts, or just use the power from an arduino which is 5v since the batteries are 6 volts
