  • So kayaking isn’t for me but I still want to have access to the water safely and I decided to get a Bark boat!
    No many videos on the bark boats in the uk so here is my first look at the affordable boat made in Germany
    Sorry for the bad audio forgot to put my mic on when I switched to my phone!
    The boat was £575 and the motor £175
    Hope you find the video useful

    How did the electric motor cope with the bark inflatable

    The electric pump takes all the work out of it.

    Nice video, Matt...honest, detailed, shows the good and bad of SIBs...thank you for that. I'm thinking of getting a Bark 450 (got 4 kids)...I wonder how that will stack up. Would you say the material for the tubes is at least .9mm? Cheers. Coops

      I took it to Windermere in October and it got abused dragged up and down rocky beaches and banks! It is still as good as new I would say it’s 7-8mm not sure on its true thickness but it’s a hell of a boat I really put it through it’s paces so I am impressed and it’s very stable even with all my kit and my 18 stone self moving around it was rock steady. A 450 would be a great choice for you and the kids for sure. Thanks for the comment

      @@LLLLLL167 Cool, that sounds great, Matt...thanks. I'm possibly going to have a look at one tomorrow in the flesh, so to speak.

    I’ve just got the exact same boat, did you fit the 2 alloy stays? I’m not sure where they go! Also how did you and the boat get on with Windy in October, that’s were I’ll be launching mine, stay safe and cheers for the vid!

    Hello I’ve order a pair of 9ft dwarfs and a scope double skin will the rods fit in there fine I saw you video but someone else said the reel position is different?

    • @LLLLLL167
      @LLLLLL167  3 года назад

      It’s got more to do with the reels than the rod, I have the full range of dwarf rods and they all fit the scope luggage fine however the larger the reel the tighter the fit. The luggage is made with the rods in mind so the different rods all fit but if you try fitting a 9ft rod and a large big pit in a double rod sleeve that’s when the issues with them fitting arise. I have a pair of 6ft dwarfs and I wanted to pair them with shimano baitrunners they fit the sleeve with the 6000 baitrunner but not with the 10000 baitrunner. So it’s the reel size not the rod size that’s the issue mate. In my experience anyway.

      Bp10 I found ok it was when I went to the bp12 I had the issues so bp10 on 9ft dwarfs will be fine.

      Do you think 9ft dwarfs with shimano 5500xtd’s would fit in a triple scope rod skin?
