@@MagicBeansVideos oh I meant when you take it out to clean or move to a different car, when setting it down it just falls over it doesn’t stand by itself. I do like that’s it’s steal though and that must be why it’s top heavy! But I’m going to upgrade to a nuna for him
The Rava is super annoying tight in the straps. My kid isn’t a chonker but it would still be tight to get on and off. The strap holder they advertise isn’t a cute perk. It’s a necessity for how little strap slack they give you. It’s a common complaint. There’s also a defect that the whole thing can come loose if food particles get stuck in the belt locking mechanism. Our kid never ate in the seat. We donated it and are going with a Diono.
I’m confused, I thought the RXT safe + model was just new for 2022 and the QX was new for 2020? Trying to compare, it only looks like the difference is the comfort + seat on the QX, otherwise they seem the same. Wondering if there is anything else I’m missing?
Just bought 3RXT Safe+ last week but returned the following day. Why? 1. Heavier than expected 2. Fabric kind of rough on some parts 3. Fabric can be taken out for wash but *impossible* to put it back. 4. Price is not worth it, not much upgrades. 5. Kiddo doesn't want it as well 🤧
Hi Michael! Both are great options! The 3QXT+ is going to offer you the most additional features, including 2 cup holders, extra layers of side impact protection and an ARB/ calf support 😍
Will this fit in a sedan when used for a newborn? Or will it be too long when tilted that far? Thank you
Can a newborn go in this car seat?
What's that red strap for
Mine didn’t come with the extra side protection but came with a black foam pad, I’m trying to figure out what that is for.
Maybe the angle adjustment for rear facing install
I have this seat and my only complaint is it doesn’t sit up by itself and it’s extremely heavy and I can’t get the fabric off to clean it properly :(
Hi Brittany! When in rear facing the seat can not be upright. It is on the heavier side but it does have steal and it is a super safe seat 😊

*You can use the rear facing base and attach it into the back. There's 2 notches there, and it'll hold the seat in an upright position.*
What do we do with the red strap how can we hide it
I typically tuck it into the harness slot
How much goes this weigh and us it FAA approved?
The Diono Radian 3RXT Safe+ is FAA approved but it is on the heavier side at 35lbs.
So would you agree that this one is more worth to buy than the nuna rava and britaone4life? For its value for money?
Hi Renz! All the seats you mentioned are great. It comes down to which features you prefer.

If you're looking at this carseat, save yourself the trouble and don't buy the safe+. The fabric is impossible to replace once removed.
What’s the difference between the 3QX and the new 3RXT Safe+?
Hi Kimberly! The Q versions are the newest and have the most upgrades.

I'm deciding between this 3RXT Safe+ vs the 3QXT+ Which would you recommend?

Don't buy this seat. I fell for the 3 across gimmick and have had so many issues.
What happened?
