My channel, which is new, is one of those... What the??? Channels. Well new in that I set it up many years ago and put one video on and then forgot about the channel until a few months back and now have been posting often. So, I recently started posting videos about my experiences of having psychic visions since childhood and seeing into many of what appear to be my past lives - which I can get confirmation on what I am seemingly remembering to be true when I do the research. Not that everyone's going to believe that regardless. I get a few people commenting in my RUclips shorts that I am crazy and they dislike the videos, but most of my long form content gets likes and nice comments. It's a very newbie channel - So it will be interesting to see how that all plays out as I put more content out. I'm enjoying the analytics pages as they build out. They are really interesting rabbit holes of information to me! It's worth building the channel just for that! HA.

Thank you!! You got this. Before I made real "long form" YT videos, I used to make Shorts (2 years ago) and they so often took so much work for also only 30-100 views

You got this, thank you for your warm words. Yesterday I was editing another video all day long and thought "ahhhhhh this is so much work" but in the end it will all pay off :)
Great video and advice! You seem to have sufficient hours and subscribers; surprised your not monetized yet. Not quite a year in and I have learned how much of a roller coaster it is. Fifty different things you have to do, editing down to the microsecond, etc, just to get 20 views. Keep going and apply what you learn, then compound on it.
Consistency is one of the most important things to be successful on yt. The quality and content of the videos will be better with every new video. So, let´s get back to the grind-game 😉

that is a great idea actually. If you put content on all social media platforms (Tik Tok, Shorts, Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn), especially short form videos, then you can really reach a lot of people
I just started my channel for 2 weeks! I've stopped watching those click-bait videos that are telling about how to get views or how to defeat algorithms in a very fast way. their own channel isn't getting real subscribers and views as they mentioned on their own videos. realizing that those people aren't genuinely helping, they're the one who are desperate for help! making the same template videos to gain newbies attention. it's good that you mentioned the truth 👍

I did hardly any of this except for a few things and am about to hit 500 since last Dec. 31. My fourth video blew up and now has about 10k in the sober niche. I don't plan on monetizing. I get a good response with doing all the wrong things. I have hardly any negative comments. I go on other people's podcasts. In my niche, that may give me an advantage. Depends the niche, gaming is really hard to monetize, faster to hit the 1000 followers / 4000 hour watch, but pays really low Adsense, i would say focus on different topic be that person that solves/ shows something and be constant and you might see 5x-20x more than gaming
