    I love Chevy water pumps, one of the easiest one to replace, the vortex 4.3 is gravy too.

    Yup the fan clutch is literally the hardest part of the job. After you knock it off the rest is just gravy

    Wouldnt you change the thermostate anyways? Would if thats why the waterpump failed because of a stuck thermostat.

      I assume you mean a stuck closed thermostat, that wouldn't cause a waterpump to fail.

      @@Bryan916 I had the lower ball joints knock sensor s and some gaskets replaced is there anything else you whuld recommend I do as funds allow to keep it as bullet proof as I can I'm planning on doing oil and trans fluid change soon

      @@lamontgray6015Use ACDelco everything if you can. Also fuel pumps are notorious for going out keep that in mind!

    You can't torque the bolts to 22 ft Lbs with a ratchet.
