So if you live in the real world where the fan doesn't just magically come off even with a fancy impact tool you'll probably want to get a spanner tool that has pins that fit into the holes on the front off the pump pulley.

My water pump came with metal gaskets, do I need sealer?
On the thermostat is that the only gasket that is required, just the rubber seal.....no other mating gasket to pump??
