The only similarities between Badu and Lion Babe is that they both represent strong, free spirited women with soulful voices. That's it. Maybe others are exploiting these similarities because there are not enough women like them in the industry, which is a whole other problem within itself.

Erykah Badu is a legend, nobody can copy her that easily lol, if this girl sings like her that means she has TALENT, btw, besides gambino, chance, tyler and some others, most rappers today sound exactly the same and nobody says anything, calm down people. Plus this is a duo, formed by the singer and a producer, who appears sometimes in the video, they are both really talented and we should keep an eye on them to see what is to come.

The Badu comparisons stop at the voice she was born with for me really. Stylistically they're different artists the same way Action Bronson's voice is the only thing that sounds like Ghostface. To say that they're biting cheapens what both Badu and Babe do. There is clearly more nuance to both acts.
