    Finally got around to getting out on the bike for a cookout. I did chilli chicken. Rode around 7 miles to a really quiet park out of town.

    I received mine in the mail yesterday. Haven't made anything yet. Just getting familiar with it. I like meals that are healthy and tasty. I can't eat high calorie meals. I've always eaten small portions and as often as I want. I appreciate meal ideas because I don't crave food and don't think about it regularly. Watching your videos helps alot.

    Glad to see you are eating healthy. I'm doing the same for the most part. I have cut out sugar, most carbs, dairy, caffeine & processed foods. I quit smoking and drinking Aug. 5, 2010 so I don't have many vices left, but that's ok.. I have lost about 7 pounds. I was having atrial fibulation with the old heart (twice this year) so I'm doing my best to avoid it again. If you look around and notice the older people they are either moving or confined to a wheel chair or bed. Take care and God bless, Ken

    I've just got a set of HA pots to reduce the weight of my 27 duossal set up (and to get the benefits of the HA non stickiness. I tried doing scrambled eggs and found they stuck to the HA pot as much as to the duossal. I suppose this is due to the thinness of the HA aluminium reducing the heat transferring properties. I get better results cooking scrambled eggs of my old Trangia mini, which has a much thicker pot and frying pan. Have you had similar problems? Great video by the way. That chilli chicken looked delicious!

    • @PaulBissekerBushcraft
      @PaulBissekerBushcraft  3 года назад

      I'm allergic to eggs so i haven't had that problem. When i know i am going to get sticking i lift the pan up with the handle and control the distance between the flame and pot to try and balance the heat out. This works for me.

    • @oldigger7060

However, I don't recall any such problems with my Trangia Mini. Never had food sticking to the frypan on that! I have a 27 ULHA frypan on order, and it will be interesting to see how it compares with the Mini. It may be a thicker material than the pots.
