    On this episode of The Woodland Kitchen i am cooking a Lamb Curry from Scratch! The Trangia 2.5 litre billy can is great for two people or more. The temperature was around 2 to 4c and we had hail and sleet a few times. My small gas can froze up so i had to use the big can to finish cooking.

    You do a fine video, Paul. I love to watch you cooking, especially the curries. You have a nice clear calm voice... just the right amount of comments, to my mind. Thanks for the entertainment! Cheers, from the Oregon coast

    So glad I have salad and shrimp in the cooler. I am totally hungry, now. After watching this, I ordered the 2.5L pot. Still not sold on the gas burner @$70 US.

    • @PaulBissekerBushcraft
      @PaulBissekerBushcraft  6 лет назад

      Gas cans are winter mix or summer mix choose one based on the temperature your'e going to be cooking in. As i found out my small one was just too cold. Link to winter mix Gas www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/p/primus-winter-gas-230g-cartridge-D3512042.html?colour=180 Summer Mix www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/p/primus-power-gas-cartridge-230g-D3512017.html?colour=180 If you look at the working temp range you will see the summer gas will work at low temps. Mine didn't probably because it was such a small amount left in the can. I hope you like your new Trangia system :)

    I blame you for my new Trangia addiction Paul. I found a used 27 set, added disc and bag. Just found a 25 ul set without kettle on amazon for £40! So I bought it. Again, your fault. So is the disc and bag for that. I was blissfully happy and unaware with just a burner and cross stand, then you went and broke me... :p Love your food vids mate :)
