There’s definitely a range of gas station hot dogs and visually I’m gonna say AM/PM is at the polar opposite end of your average Valero hot dog (the best in my experience)

I commend you for attempting this. Gas station hot dogs - I don’t even eat regular homemade hot dogs. However, our local chain Sheetz has the best chicken nuggets ever. So good and I always get the honey mustard dip. Can’t tell you the last time I went to McD’s and I’ve never been to the other two places.
Ahh, this hurts my heart.. Instead of going to the Highland AMPM/Jack in the Box.. You could have made it easier for yourself and hit Santa Monica in one fell swoop. The Panda on Lincoln/Montana...Then Jack in the Box on Lincoln/Santa Monica. The McDonalds on 2nd/Colorado and end with the AMPM on 4th/Pico...or the reverse order.
