What do you guys think of the ARC so far?
2:25 Correction, leatherman bits aren't proprietary, they fit in all standard bit slots cause they have the same dimensions as standard bit except they're slimmed down.... What's proprietary is the bit holder slots on the leatherman tools themselves, only their slim bits fit in those slots
Do the handles wobble up and down, when in plier mode?
No
Yeah but imagine if they'd put the adjustable pivot/spring loaded pliers and people would start breaking them ? Imagine the hate towards Leatherman .... i think the regular plier is the best choice !
I understand their logic. I think I failed to convey in the video that as much as I wanted the ARC to have spring action and an adjustable pivot, I completely understand why they couldn't implement it. I hope they will be able to implement it in a stronger, more finalized manner in the future.
I wouldn’t want spring action
I am a fleet mechanic and have many pliers in my toolbox none of them are spring loaded I always wonder why people want that so badly😂
