People forget that we lost 5 wickets in just 70 runs. & In last two overs, there were no batsman left who could score 20 runs in last over. That's why he tried to wait till the last over and Play defensively. If that increadible runout from such distance wouldn't take place, result would have been different & the same people who hated him for that match would be praising him right now. But they don't understand that lower order batsman can not rely on anybody like top order batsmen because there are no batsmen left after them. They would have never understand the amount of pressure Dhoni played under.

Dhoni always played like that where he plays really defensively at first, takes singles and doubles and when pressure shifts on opposition, he capitalise on that. Whenever he succeeded in this approach, people didn't appreciated that or pointed that out. But when he didn't succeed in some matches while using this technique, people hated him. 2019 nz match was a perfect example of that. People forget that we lost 5 wickets in just 70 runs. & In last two overs, there were no batsman left who could score 20 runs in last over. That's why he tried to wait till the last over and Play defensively. If that increadible runout from such distance wouldn't take place, result would have been different & the same people who hated him for that match would be praising him right now. But they don't understand that lower order batsman can not rely on anybody like top order batsmen because there are no batsmen left after them. They would have never understand the amount of pressure Dhoni played under.
