brillant, magnific i'm 17 and i think i can't play as well as you. Your expressions betray you sometimes. awesome cadenza. Congratulations and keep playing like now. Good luck in your musical life
Bravo! I realise this is 6 years too late, however, exemplary technique and excellent role model! My son is currently just learning this movement and am going to show him this video. Thank you for this excellent video!
I love the RUclips video with Katariina playing first violin in the Vivaldi concerto for 2 violins in a minor - it has more than 804,000 views. Wow!!!!
WOW i'm learning this piece too and I'm 13. I hope I can play even fractionally as well as you in the near future. You're a great inspiration, keep going!
Wow...this was absolutely beautiful playing. I'm playing this piece this coming winter for District Orchestra auditions, and I'm also 14. However, I have a feeling that I'll probably never get it up to the lever that you've played it on. Truly inspiring work - especially that cadenza. Unfortunately the judges don't want to hear that this year....Ah well. Once again, a beautiful piece, played truly professionally.
Hello Katariina, You have done a beautiful job on this! Congratulations! Our son played this when he was a little older than you so I have good memories of this piece!
Beautiful mature playing. The first video of yours I watched was the de Beriot, and then some of the others up to this recent one. You make a wonderful sound and this is a real performance - close your eyes, and this isn't a young girl playing. I shall look forward to your future career. BTW - When I learned this concerto, it was No. 2. Suppose that's inflation for you!
you played wonderful~ really xD i'm playing this song right now too, but making my own cadenza,,, but what i thought was really good about your playing was that you had some of your own style mixed in, and you controlled that perfectly,,, (except for dynamic,,, you could control it a bit more,,, even if there is a solo, you are supposed to be leading this piece, which means you still have to be louder whether it is a cadenza or not) congrats :D
Good job! beautiful! you brought out nuances in this piece than i would've noticed. Which publisher did you buy your book from? The one I have has a way different cadenza and yours is so much better
loved, loved, loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is so amazing and talented!!!!! but she needs to loosen up a bit, she's to tight in the shoulders and neck :( but she's an amazing player :)
wow that was amazing. I am 12 and the problem I find with myself and a whole lot of other violin players the are still young is that the tone and sound arn't mature yet. There is a weak childish sound to us. You are clearly not in this case.
Good job! thumbs up but... I saw your other video when you were 13, but you rush in some spots, still. You have a wonderful sound, but sometimes it's a bit harsh. Overall: good job

its by Ferdinand Kuchler. you can find that on the level 8 RCM repertoire book.
