THERE ARE TWO MORE??????????
Yes. React to all of them. Great trilogy. 👍🏿
And the quality doesn't drop off that much, either.
There's also "Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear" and "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult".
I wish that we could all learn how to laugh at ourselves.
"Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes."
That is still one of my favorite quotes.
"Airplane" is where Leslie Nielsen first got into comedy. they took a lot of actors considered "serious" actors and placed them in comedic roles. It was a hit!
I think thats why Liam Nesson might pretty much work in such comedy
Comedy roles are much more difficult than drama roles for an actor. The general public have it the wrong way around. Sometimes, however a production gets lucky with a dramatic actor with natural comedic ability.
"Use your open eye, Frank."
You are the first person I've seen who got the "impervious to everything but water joke" on first time watching.
"Is this some kind of bust?"
"Yes, it's very impressive, but I'd like to ask you some questions first."
Other "silly" comedies like this include "Airplane!", "Top Secret", and "Hot Shots"... :)
"Is this true, Frank? Are you a vehicular menace?"
"Yes, it's true."
Very true
13:19 The music is _absolutely_ appropriate for this scene.
I just found your channel, and wanted to let you know that you have a new subscriber! I love reaction videos, and your reactions to this one are priceless! Keep it up!
" ... and the rockets red glare,
buncha bombs in the air..."
I really enjoyed your reaction -
great sense of humor.
Have you ever seen
MY COUSIN VINNY (1992)
Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei,
Fred Gwynne
I'm pretty certain you'd enjoy it.
PS you won my subscription
I love to see you laughing ❤
This is one of my all time favorite movies. My Dad took me to the theater to see it when it came out in winter of 1988 when I was 12. It was right at that time when I started to understand adult humor.
He and I were almost on the floor laughing. I remember the theater was packed, and everyone was dying...... there were scenes I know we missed during that first time watching it because we were laughing so much and so hard. Especially the press conference bathroom break. I thought I was going to rupture a vital organ I was laughing so hard. But I didn't care.
My insides hurt when that movie was over. It was fantastic. I still love this movie to this day 34 years later.
This movie is very funny
I am pretty sure you will love "Airplane!". It is maybe even more hilarious. A classic I have seen countless times. Because I always meet new people who did not see it. Which is a state of existence that is unbearable for me, so it has to be changed. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
This is such a good and a funny movie. The very first time I saw Naked Gun was when it came out on VHS. This was such a good movie. And I really love all of your movie reactions too.
Nielsen's father was RCMP and his brother was Canada's deputy prime minister and minister of national defence, so not knowing the US national anthem was acceptable for a man from northern Canada.
That’s a dope fact! Thank your sharing
What a wonderful reaction! I've seen a lot of people react to this movie and your reaction was by far the most fun to watch and easily my favorite.
A bit of trivia that you might be intrested to know is that Leslie Nielsen started his career doing heavy dramas and had never done a comedy until he was cast in Airplane. He even told the directors of that film that he had no idea how to be funny or deliver his lines, so they told him to say them as if he were in a drama. His flat, serious tone in that film went over so well that it relaunched his career and he's now known almost exclusively for his comedy work.
Since you have guitars on the wall I assume you're into music, another piece of trivia that you might also be interested to know is that the woman playing the love interest is Priscilla Presley who was Elvis's wife.
As a side note, when you watch Airplane you shouldn't expect to get all of the jokes. Some of them use late 70s pop culture for their references, so if you're not familiar with that era a lot of the jokes won't always work. It's still a great film in a similar style to The Naked Gun and it's filled with tons of more general jokes, visual gags, and puns but I wanted to warn you that there are some jokes you're not likely to get. Some reactors don't like the movie for that reason, but I'm almost positive that you'll enjoy it based on your reaction to The Naked Gun.
I had basically the same reaction to the Beaver joke LOL
6:44 that look was gold!
8:53 - I just noticed the doctor is trying to take a pulse...through a cast. LOL.
😂😂😂
Watched that scene at least 20 times and never noticed that lol
To be fair, even though the character is American, Leslie Nielsen was actually a Canadian ;P =)
If you like princess Bride the Naked Gun you're going to love *(Airplane)* a *(Top Gun)* sequel is in theaters but if you've seen the original check out *(Hot Shots)* the hilarious parody
GREAT reaction here! Just FYI, Naked Gun was based off a TV show called Police Squad (1982) which only lasted 6 episodes (methinks the show went WAY over the tv execs' heads). For something different, have you ever watched any Alfred Hitchcock films? I will recommend Vertigo (1958) for a first one.
7:27 "How do you not recognize your own car?"
7:33 He realizes that.... now.
Hi Aria! If you liked this, there's two more sequels for you to enjoy! Love your channel!
Regarding the US national anthem, then Leslie Nielsen was actually not American. His mother was from Wales and his father an immigrant from Denmark who joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, so his father was actually a real police officer, but in Canada. His brother became the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada for a few years, while his half-uncle was the Danish-American actor Jean Hersholt who twice was awarded an honorary Oscar and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in his honor the "Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award" is a special Oscar named by the Oscar Academy.
Great reaction! you laughed at all the parts that really crack me up.😂A couple of movie suggestions..First of all one must not go through life without experiencing “Forrest Gump” or “Shawshank Redemption “ as far as action goes “Raiders of the lost Ark” “Terminator “ “Alien” “Jurassic Park” last one, though it’s a limited tv series is one of the best thing you’ll ever see ..and that’s “Breaking Bad”. Amazing show!
Such an over the top silly fun movie you can't help but smile and laugh through the whole thing. Fun watching you enjoy this classic for the 1st time. Keep these fun reactions coming
9:35 "Apply the brakes."
This guy's like the poster boy for _valium._ Look how _calm_ he is.
When he pulled that note from under the house of cards, how'd he think he was going to put it back?
This movie suggestion may seem out of left field (yes, it's a baseball reference 😉), but if you want to see an excellent classic that had some influence on the famous "Indiana Jones" character created by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, be sure to put this one on your list: "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre."
Frank Drebin. Police Squad
Leslie Nielsen started as a _dramatic_ actor. The first movie that introduced him as an instrument of deadpan humor was _Airplane!_ from 1980 in which he demonstrated a veritable _knack_ for it that _this_ movie series capitalized on.
Fun fact, I don't know about Frank Dreben, but Leslie Nielsen is Canadian. Cheers
I can hardly believe that!
I never wondered where the doctor got his gun from!
I love your reactions to every movie you watch. It's so sweet 😊
Thankyou❤️
Great reaction video, Aria! Naked Gun is such a classic- I first saw it when I was twelve. It's stayed with me throughout my life. I'm looking forward to seeing your reation to Airplane!

There’s a few in there. Hope you might try some. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.
11:47 "How do you know what I'm looking at? I'm not even gonna _show_ you."
😄 Oh, we've seen the movie. We know what scene you're hiding from us, Aria.
I said "you know what I'm looking at" But because I was laughing it does sound like "how do you know" 😅😂
You should watch Airplane 1980 next
Since I've seen all these movies a hundred times, I love watching reaction videos to get back a little of that first time feeling. A few of the jokes in these are rooted in the 80s and might not be so funny now.
I looked and you don't seem to have one for Top Secret! the movie. That's another slap stick comedy with a lot of funny quotes.
5:10 - Finally! Someone who thinks that scene is as funny as I do. 😁
I loved your reaction!!😁👍♥️
First time seeing your reaction. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
That was a great reaction. Hope you react the other 2 too
Thanks ... Aria C
Glad you like those kind of comedy. As people already suggested in the comments. The sequels are fun too, and airplane of course :D
You must watch the "Police Academy" movies, "Airplane!" and "Top Secret", you'll love them! :)
'The Naked Gun', reminds me a lot of the old 1960's show "Get Smart" I still enjoy watching that over and over again. Police Squad was also a great TV show, before they spun it off into 'The Naked Gun' movies. Another series you might like is 'Police Academy', the first one is a raunchy comedy, then they get sillier and sillier until they pretty much become a live action cartoon type movie series. Then they actually came out with a cartoon series and a 'Police Academy' series. I also enjoyed them.
Great reaction video :) Love Naked Gun. Just subscribed and looking forward to your future videos!
I do like content!
Aria, you should try and find Police Squad the tv series that came before this, it was short lived but just as funny.
#AriaC, you're so sweet. I love your content because it's so amazing, and I really enjoy watching you react to different movies.
Awesome 👍👍
Aria C Thank you for the love, I wish you a good day.
You too:)
@@ariachanson01 Thank you.
Loved this reaction :)
"The Naked Gun" was a spinoff of a TV series called "Police Squad." It only ran for six half-hour episodes. Fortunately, movie studios go for this kind of comedy more than television networks. But the show is really worth watching.
WATCH ALL THE PARTS OF THE NAKED GUN, THEY ALL ARE AWESOME... DO CHECK OUT ' PREDATOR ' AND ' TERMINATOR ', CONAN THE BARBARIAN AND ALL ITS OTHER PARTS ARIA , ALSO CHECK OUT THE AWESOME CLASSIC ' 12 ANGRY MEN ' , AND ' THEY LIVE ' THE BEST DOCUMENTARY ABOUT IT ALL YOU'D EVER SEE. ALONG WITH RAMBO FIRST BLOOD AND ALL ITS PARTS... 😊🤗😚😚
Your smile its so charm. I recomed you "The adventures of Baron Munchausen" by Terry Guillian ist a mix of comedy and fantasy.
If you liked this movie, you should see "airplane" you will like that too
Two movies that I suggest are Searching For Bobby Fischer and Beautiful Girls (1996).
Liam Neeson is going to star in a new " Naked Gun ".
OK you NEED to watch the Original 6 episodes of POLICE SQUAD, they are all on youtube :P
The lieutenant's love interest wearing the red dress early in the movie is Elvis Presley's ex-wife. They divorced 4 years before his untimely death. Norburg (the guy who was in the hospital bed) was O.J. Simpson, ex NFL star and perhaps more famously known for being acquitted of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. He was later imprisoned on other charges.
You Gotta do a reaction of Robin Hood: Men in Tights! It’s a comedy masterpiece!!
Disagreed. This was the first Mel Brooks film I saw in the theater, after years of enjoying his prior stuff on cable, and I felt like I had been bilked out of hard-earned money and moments of my life I could never have back. IMO, this is the worst film to mention, to engage them in Mr. Brooks' work.
plz Part 2 and 3 too :)))
Aria C You my dear, have a new subscriber💙
The same filmmaking team created the classic "Airplane!," the two "Hotshots!" films (you need to begin by viewing "Top Gun" and at least the first "Rambo" movie to understand these two "Hotshots!" spoofs), and "Top Secret," besides the "Police Squad" TV show that "The Naked Gun" sprang from. They all have the same type of humor.
She does not need to watch Top Gun and Rambo first
@@Casper50002 When they are the main films being spoofed... yeah, you need to see the originals to understand the jokes.
How did I have more fun watching this with you than alone lol. Yeah the practice safe sex was so funny. The whole movie is crazy. It's a great comedy. Before the movie Airplane Leslie Nielson was a dramatic actor. That is why he can deliver his dialogue with such a straight face. Loved that you could appreciate this movie as I and other people do
Of course now u have to do part 2 and 3 as well.. then u can move on to Airplane. but for the hot shot series u have to watch a few other movies first.. or wont get teh refference
6:43
Почему такая реакция сдержанная?
Мужики на этом месте обычно ржут🤣
The only thing that seems implausible in this otherwise very good police documentary is the "Teen Driving School" sign in the back of the car. Why does it have to be readable from the inside of the car?
Really good movie, I wonder what his doing now 2023
🍿📽️🍿🎥🙏⛄🎅🇸🇪💙💛✨👌😇😄😃🦫🦫🦫🦫
18:08 exaggerated ways a pitcher can cheat by 'sanding' the ball. They can use a grease on the ball, etc, makes the ball harder for a batter to hit it. Some pitchers have even been 'thrown out of the game' by the umpires for cheating during a game.
Who's guitars in the background?
we should take Aria to Mr. Ludwigs Office.. she knows too much .
I enjoy your reviews! I would like to take you out for a tasty spaghetti dinner
20:18 It's done by computer code. IDK
Have you seen the 2007 movie "Stardust"? You really should it is a very fun fantasy/adventure film loosely about a coming of age story and a study in the real meaning of love. It's funny and just bizarre enough to stay interesting.
"Idk if he was a good police officer or not, he solved the case but was killing people left and right"
Yep, checks out. He's a police officer.
Have you seen Airplane 1980?
Not yet, will watch it soon
You’re kinda dreamy
I'm sure I'll come off as some kinda creep here but I'm gonna say it anyways . You are gorgeous and somehow even more beautiful when you laugh . Just a straight forward and simple compliment .
Thankyou:)
If you find this funny, you should watch airplane, hot shots
3:49 - Haha, leaving your mic on and going to the bathroom...good thing that never happened in real life...or DID it?? ruclips.net/video/ZERTD7pddOI/видео.html
Oh my God 😂😂😂
que hermosa eres, niña
Nordberg is played by O.J. Simpson, who got much more famous for the "Trial Of The Century" about a decade after this (he was accused, but acquitted, of murdering his wife and her alleged lover; there are people who still think he did it, though I'm not one of them (they had a shady AF houseguest, I think he's the killer)). Simpson first garnered national attention for his pro football career, which he parlayed into acting roles like this one.
Yup I know about that famous car chase and a lot of the evidence was against him too but I guess we'll never know
@@ariachanson01 Yeah, I think unless he makes a deathbed confession or something like that we'll never know for sure.
Wow! There really is somebody in 2022 who still thinks O.J. Simpson was innocent? They literally found his blood at the crime scene! And he later published a book 📖 called "If I Did It." You can take the if off the title. Yeah the prosecution sucked and the judge let the trial turn into a media circus 🎪. But if you and I had that evidence against us we'd be spending the rest of our lives in prison! O.J. got away with it because he had the best lawyers that money 💰 could buy who played the race card to a very biased jury. Plain and simple. O.J. even had a history of violence and abuse towards Nicole and she feared that he may one day kill her
I recently heard it may have been his son.
Didn't know about the book
18:02 Since you don't know anything about baseball. The player wants the ball to go out of the park for a home run. He's not cheering or anything. | Cheers! 🙂
Gotta get the spitting and the scratching of the balls out of the way.
Poor guy he sliced up his wife in real life
you're cute
This girl reminds me of Nikki Haley!!!!
Oh God, I hope not!
@@SeekingHisWill78 who's Nikki Haley?
You are the most beautiful woman on earth! Your reactions are so awesome!
Next time you need a comedic break, with same directors….try airplane. Shirley you are ready for it, and I won’t ever call you Shirley again.
Surely you can't be serious.
If you like princess Bride the Naked Gun you're going to love *(Airplane)* a *(Top Gun)* sequel is in theaters but if you've seen the original check out *(Hot Shots)* the hilarious parody
