Sheesh my boy. You were pretty spot on with Garlands projected numbers. Would love to see an updated version of this for the upcoming season lol. Good stuff, love your work.
Over the first three weeks of this season your analysis has been spot on, he is definitely picking and choosing his shots when he should be letting more fly. I wish his usage was higher, but he has one of the most aesthetically pleasing games in the nba. The cavs coaching staff needs to give him the green light to launch threes and run more high high pick n roll like the ones cp3 loves. Great stuff keep it up
Thanks for this. I'm stationed overseas so I don't get to see many Cavs highlights...or lowlights lol, so this breakdown on Garland is much appreciated.
Cavs fan here. Last season, Garland was the only player that could make you go "oooh" and "ahhh" from his play . He also was rated the most likely for a breakout season by NBA GMs last week I think
Garland is going to be a super star. Steph thinks so, and a poll of GMs around the league expect him to make that leap THIS year. Yall better watch out. When Mobley is ready in a couple of years the Cavs are going to be scary as hell!
It is a fact that he shows CHris Paul-Esque vision and quarterbacking. It is a fact that he shows TOny Parker-like quickness and floater touch. It is a fact that he shows Steph-like shooting at times with that effortless release off the dribble from near 30 feet. Once he puts all of his game together (could be this year), he is going to be one of the elite PGs in this league. That's a fact. I think he is going to be better than Trae. If he had the team and system around him (made just for him) like Trae has, DG would be looked at like one of the best youngsters in the world...the thing is, hehas to share a court with Sexton, who is a ball dominant player who can't shoot consistently from deep when it matters.
@@Sbrabson04 do you watch basketball? It’s very similar. The off ball movement, long threes, setting up teammates, creating on ball, deadly midrange... it’s all the stuff curry does.
@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070 I like his game but he’s more comparable to a starting version of Jordan Clarkson. He only shoots 34% from 3 and 44% from the field. DG is in year 2 with 47% from the field and 38% from 3. Very Curry like and ahead of where he was
No true fan is saying trade Garland for Simmons. Garland is the best player on the team, and anyone who doesnt know it either hasent been paying attention, or doesnt know basketball

Now, a year later. He is supersede of what you highlighted.
Great job!
His footwork is really underrated: his quickness and shiftyness starts with that. It's such a pleasure to watch 😍
How has my man not got a bigger following his stuff is excellent
Exactly we need to like and comment to get him more noticed
It's just really sad that y'all both sound like y'all just now noticed his skillset... He's been showing glimpses as a rookie...🤔🤔🤔
You was right
The best vid of this kind yet for sure. Was really well paced. Idk how good Garland can really be but he's already really nice.

BRO where the views at?! This is CRIMINAL. FIRE CONTENT OVER HERE!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I feel like he’s perfect for the modern PG spot, especially for an undersized guy.
He grew a couple of inches in the offseason
@@dearmas9068 wym by that man 🤔
@@danielvincent8603 he is about 6'3" now...............
Can we stop with this? 6'1 is sufficient for a point guard.
@@lakeshoresubtleties yeah. It is.
But he also grew a little.

DG is especial MIP , ALL star FP de CLEVELAND ❤️🙌🏼

Even worse for the league the warriors might have more future superstars in poole and kuminga. Imagine more warriors vs cavs finals?
@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070 Kuminga might be an allstar. Pool might be, but only as long as hes playing with Steph and Dray.
Amazing breakdown
Great breakdown!
The next most improve player🔥🔥
Subbed. Go cavs
bro predicted it
*This was good work. Did you create this video all by yourself?*
*Darius Garland is what Troy Hudson would’ve been without that injury.*
Yes, I'm a one man band at the moment lol
Appreciate it!
Great stuff

Can you link the vid of draymond
Just a radio interview. The only time he talked about DG was what I put in the video.

who you got for MIP again as in your video you did multiple players but who do you have winning it
oh yeah you have MPJ guessing for you its MPJ Garland KPJ and the others you doing in order
His counter attack is Floyd Maywetheresque
Do a Trae young breakdown
LETS FUCKING GO CAVS
All star guard already. Taking Cavs to the playoffs. Draymond Green is absolutely right. Tough cover for sure.
I see trae young in him
Young Steph Curry
Not really... closest dude to that is probably poole
