In case I need to apply for a loan, when would be the best to apply? What are the chances of not being accepted? Furthermore, does the bank need to be in my home country? Saw there are plenty of companies who offer credit to students with really low rates and that's a little too good to be true. I don't know how reliable are they. If you can advise on this matter, would be really appreciated.
Generally student get loan from their home country. If you want to get loan from any USA financial institution, you probably be asked to provide a loan guarantor ( either US citizens or green card holder) Some universities in USA help students get education loan at a lower rate for some programs. In that case you won’t need any guarantor, coz university itself acts as guarantor.
If student's I20 was approved by his father sponsorship, and later student loan will be approved.. It is necessary to update the loan section latter to ISO later after he gets his I20 once.Student I20 has been approved by his fathers bank statement details with bank approval, is any affidavit support required?As a student I20 will be deliver within a week but the loan will take 10-15 days .
Is loan sanction letter enough for I 20 or we have to submit affidavit of support.In affidavit of support how much amount should be shown if my education loan is almost 80% of the course cost.
Hi sir, If the phd student is fully funded plus the TA is provided but the I20 doesn’t come with offer letter. Do they still need to show financial documents or just upload their offer letter mentioning fully funded plus the TA when asked to upload documents and passport copy?
