Seriously, aweseome video and incredibly helpful for me. I always wanted to try a Mistweaver but I had trouble grasping concepts as well as the whole melee healer style. I leveled one up in the pre patch with the idea of having one available to me since it seemed to be a valuable asset to groups with its damage pattern. It wasn't until I saw your video that I decided to try it out and the included macros helps me a lot with the button bloat healers seem to have. Thank you again. Sunbscribed.
MW Monk was super hard to for me to figure out, I feel there's so many things glossed over by youtubers on the spec. Esp since its so unique, you really have to review the entire tree and it takes awhile for it to click. But easily one of the most fun/strongest healers right now. Thanks for the nice comment!
@@RealmGamingWoW Well after watching your video I took my MW with Prepatch gear, and your build (I adjusted a skill to my tastes) and I did 2 lfr raids and finished top heals in it (not a huge thing I know but I've never played the class before I watched your video), and did a heroic Azure Vaults and it was easy. Thank you, you may have just swayed me to main this spec in TWW
I think that depends if you're going for firstweaver or castweaver... If firstweaver then yes generally this is the same. But take that with a grain of salt, Im mainly M+
Nice summary but I cant get that healing macro to work, it just channel Soothing Mist and nothing else, no EvM or Vivify added there, just a full length SM channel with nothing else.
So the macro should work, I just did a direct copy and paste and its working for me. I think what's happening is the macro has a reset=1 in it, which means the sequence of events will reset if you don't spam the button. So really you should be spamming next sequence of the spell within 1 second, or it'll reset back to soothing mists. @@RealmGamingWoW Very true, I didnt realize I had to spam the button, I thought it would just start the channeling and then pull the spells one by one. Thanks man, love these 2 macros, especially the dps one as I am always more focused on HP bars and such so sometimes botch my dps rotation. :D
Expel Harm should be used as a self heal due to talents. Its very strong as a self heal. Chi Burst isn't a very high priority spell and is typically used as an attempt to reset the cooldown on our faeline stomp (repositioning) through our Awakened Jadefire talent.

Updated the description, sorry about that. I have two of these macros on my keybinds, sometimes the soothing mist channel gets interrupted if you move or something and cancel it, and you'll be stuck hard casting an enveloping mist. So I always have two just in case that happens (it will happen!)
Very minimal differences, on alliance though shadowmeld can be insane to drop aggro and group rez. Horde is probably going to be Tauren with war stomp & brawn. Arcane Torrent with belf is great too

@@Chefjayman Great to hear! I think main weaknesses of this spec will be when it's difficult to stick the boss. No dmg = no healing.

@@gibs9731 Great to hear man! Yeah the dps one is solid, the two tiger palms before the blackout kick make it proc 4 times, which is super nice!

Can't speak to it really in m+, but it was the preferred pvp play style in s4.
