What I don't get is why anyone would redact information in this situation? There's a handful of people left in a dying universe with dwindling resources, who are they redacting the info from?
Space stations aren't a city or a mall, they are treated like military bases, especially if you have a space station large enough to house 500ish people. The people of the iron lung didn't have a heads up for the quiet rupture, all the people left in the world are basically either scientists on contract for doing stuff in space, engineers who were meant to maintain the station, medics to keep the people healthy, security to prevent people from doing dumb shit and possibly some gardeners/farmers for hydroponics, people who are military aren't that likely to just, stop behaving like military, so it's extremely likely whatever hierarchy was there before the rapture kept being there even after, whoever is in charge probably has their reasons to not let other people know the convicts, the last people in the universe, are sent off to die in a cosmic horror
C.a.i is the one mostly writing the " info ", which makes them extremely biased, they redacted the text because they probably don't want other people to know
