I felt like the second scenario was more realistic. I know moms like in the first scenario exist, but as a therapist for kids I see wayyyy too many kids who I ask “what do you want to be when you grow up” and they say “an influencer.”

That first scenario is very real tho and parents who live through their children are the worst. Ofc ''Influencer'' specifically is more rare, but its the same principle in things like sports or music. Teenage phases exist and are outgrown of, abusive parents however are not most likely gonna grow out of it
An influencer is not going to be feasible much longer it’s over saturated and unless you’re one of the best…. It’s really going to be a waste of time (im a microinfluencer btw)
Was gonna say the first scenario of the parent pushing the social media as a good thing is unusual.....usually it's the Opposite.

Idea for WWYD: Two actors on separate tables in a diner. One is an influencer/vlogger who is filming herself, vlogging her life, and she keeps getting the other actor into her shot in the background. The other actor says ‘I’m allowed privacy and I don’t want to be seen in your vlog/video.’ Scenario: WWYD: Someone doesn’t ask your permission to be in the background of their vlog.

Ever since I was a teenager I wanted to become a RUclipsr. Being a social media influencer isn’t exactly what I have in mind. Reacting to movies and tv shows are my main focus. Even some stand up comedy would be fine. I like to keep a low profile nowadays. I would encourage the parents not to force their kids online if they don’t want to be on there. I understand looking for jobs are important, but there are other things out there besides being online. If the kids like to do then the parents should have a talk with them about what they’re doing and focus the pros and cons. Have some supervision along with it.
If you're going to bring Traci back you might as well have her and John Quinones do these scenarios so it's obvious that it's "What Would you Do?"

The problem with using Traci is that she is far too well known by people who watch the show. So you may get people who still react normally because they don’t watch the show, but anyone who watching it would know it was a set up. Even if I was on holiday from England, I would recognise her and know it was being set up.
These WWYD scenarios are getting really dumb. I've noticed that in almost every new scenario, the actors need to force the patrons to get involved 😅

Yeah, the new season has been so boring. I know they are focusing on real life issues but it’s just not the way it used to be.
If you’ve watched it long enough, you’d know they’ve always done that while you over here complaining. They’ve done it before this new season. It’s what they’ve always done since I’ve been watching the show when I was younger. They don’t even always do it, sometimes they just break it if no one gets involved. They do it to also not waste time.

During the first 2 years of my son’s life, a lot of people said we should put him in modeling. He’s quite handsome and does have a unique look from being mixed race. One person even approached my mom about using one of his photos for an ad. My mom said no before even asking me. My husband and I agreed if people want to use pictures of our son for modeling purposes we will work out some deal but anything that interferes with being a normal kid is not allowed. Any money our son earns goes directly into a custodial account which he can access at 18. So mom and dad get nothing. Luckily all this stopped shortly after he turned 2.

Our daughter started off watching RUclips videos. When covid hit grandparents couldn’t see her so easiest way to get them to see her was doing videos. She wanted to do videos and when she didn’t want to do them for 18 months we stopped. She has started back up again and is enjoying it and when we don’t upload a video it’s cause she doesn’t want to do one. Why force your kid to do it? Now she has 1300 subscribers and making no money from it but she loves doing it.
