I agree. I have seen other comments about them being understanding and caring, but I didn't get that from them at all. They seemed to just try and have fun with the situation and didn't care.

What would be the point of her wasting the remaining years of her youth and attractiveness, which will soon wane, when he's on the opposite trajectory, i.e. his attractiveness as a partner is only increasing? The first lady didn't want to get in thier business and if you look at the reaction of the husband for the 2nd couple they initially didn't want to either. It's only because she interacted with them.
And there's one other factor that's obvious in this. I would've loved to see them put different racial dynamics and you'll see every scene would've been different. BP normally don't prejudge like WP do. I bet if they put the same dynamics with him getting the number of the waitress with the first lady. Let's just say it wouldn't have been a laughing moment.
