I recently spoke to Matthew Schofield at RBAT and he said that the entire company now is very much only selling drinks to fund the crazy ideas they have. Apparently there was supposed to be a stunt where a man in a wind suit would fly above a race truck which had an aerodynamic element on the roof that would cause air to rush up into the wing suit, allowing the wing suit to float above the truck. The truck would be heading towards a cliff and then would turn off at the last second sending the wing suit off the cliff. They made all the modifications to the truck that were needed but in the end decided it was too dangerous so SOMEWHERE out there is a truck capable of hovering a person above it.
I wasn't using my glasses when I opened YT, but when I recognized the shape of an upsidedown airplane flying over a F1 car I thought "yep, redbull stuff for sure"
Alright Redbull hear me out, we know it’s possible for an F1 car to drive inverted due to the downforce produced at high speeds, and you have already flown a plane through a tunnel. My proposal is simply to repeat the stunt you’ve shown here, but with the F1 car inverted, and the plane on the bottom
I'm not one to question the design of a plane, but I feel like, for a stunt plane especially, visibility is a... really big thing you should focus on...
