Yes I agree he definitely wanted you to take the catnip. And I also looked it up and people have taken catnip for various medical reasons including migraines but there's not a lot of research to show that it actually helps.
But this video was so incredible about how sweet he is and understands and trying to make you feel better. Cats really are Healers
Well I mean, catnip makes *him* feel pretty good, how is he supposed to know it doesn't have the same effect on humans? 🤔
i had catnip in coffee a few times, very good! :) praise Jesus
We used to drink catnip for cold/flu. It really does work well to make you feel better. I love that he left it for you, then came back, sniffed and then looked at you like ma, you were supposed to eat this. He’s a good boy ❤
Definitely looks like that's what's going on!
Your cat is smarter than you think. The Google machine said catnip tea has medicinal properties... good for headaches, etc.
Yes definitely advised you to eat up all the catnip for your head.
Cats are very sweet and caring despite them getting a bad rap sometimes.
The other day I was crying and my cat came down from upstairs, touched my face with her paw and nose a few times and then just sat with me, resting her paw on my hand.
This video clearly demonstrates the cat’s understanding intellectually and emotionally. You’re blessed to have such a sweet fur baby.
So cool!!!
He is the goodest
He's trying so hard to get u to understand.😅
Migraines are terrible, you have my sympathy. I used to get bad migraines as a child but as an adult they are quite mild.
When he was standing right in front of the catnip and was looking at it then I could see him look ahead and I'm assuming it was you he was looking at.HE WAS TOTALLY TRYING TO TELL U TO TAKE THE CATNIP!!!! As an animal behaviourist I've studied cat and dogs and communications..its a very subtle forward movement with his head when he was looking down at catnip then up at you.!
Catnip tea does relieve different pain for some humans😊 its from the mint family.
Ohmigoodness! What a very sweet boy! I've never seen a cat ignore catnip in my life... he loves you to leave that for you!
Yes, he did. Now do what Dr Meow says and drink some catnip tea
It is how he is doing the buttons in the dark that gets me
Such a sweet boy! 🥰
He definitely was trying to help mom feel better.
I believe you would have figured out what he was saying sooner, had your thinking process not been clouded in pain.
Seriously considering taking his advice next time I have a migraine.
I agree, he was definitely trying to “medicate” you with some catnip. It might be a good idea to try making yourself some catnip tea. You can mix it with other herbs if you like as well. You can show your cat that you have made “catnip water” so that next time that you have migraine he will know what it is that you’re taking. Who knows, maybe it will actually help your migraines.
Oh YES! He is a clever cat and obviously has empathy for you, his loving cat person. It’s good that you eventually realised what he was saying. He must have been frustrated that you didn’t take his advice. You are a very lucky cat owner! ❤️🐈
Yes - he wanted you to take catnip via your mouth for your head(ache) --- fascinating! 😊
wow this is pretty amazing. I do notice that cats are very sensitive to emotions and like to help when I am sad or in distress.
Yep he did!
Medicinally, the plant has been used to treat intestinal cramps, for indigestion, to cause sweating, to induce menstruation, as a sedative, and to increase appetite.
Well Roscoe is amazing
Catnip has been used as a nerve tonic since ancient times, i love a cup of catnip tea to soothe anxiety!
❤ I wish you had pretended to eat it so he would know you understood his communication. You know, how parents pretend to eat some "food" their toddler hands them.
Amazing Grace😊😊
Without a doubt! So do it! Make and sip a catnip tea. Thank thank him for being so sensitive, caring and smart!
Yes or make a tea, very smart boy!
Wow! Cats are more caring than we give them crédit for.
I have heard of catnip tea. Wouldn't hurt.
I have horrible migraines too and I'm sure having a cat by my side who understands my suffering would make me feel better.
Catnip is safe for humans too, you can actually make tea from it that helps with insomnia, anxiety and headaches. Roscoe obviously loves and cares for you because he was absolutely right and knew what he was talking about 😻😻😻
