Fun campfire stories! One time I was a volunteer bartender at an event and worked my butt off. Then I found out they didn’t get enough volunteers at sign up time so they hired people and I was the only one unpaid. 😂. I didn’t sign up for that again.
Here comes the action Jackson. I never had to work at a ball park… but my first job in high school was working at a grocery store for a few months and the madness you described reminded me of that experience. Thanks for sharing the story with us!
Lol I can relate! My granddaughters baton group did the concession stands at the Cleveland Brown's games. I was terrible at pouring beer🍺 The snow would come in and cover the counters. We would be there forever counting...
You need to not have a video ready more often because I love these campfire stories are awesome! Chuck knew how to pour beers! 😆 But doesn't even know his wife! Daannngggg!!! 😂
It was nice to hear your story about raising money for the kids. And yes as a parent we helped our son sell candy bars and popcorn at our work for the school. Loved the camp fire made me fell as If I was sitting across from you as you told your story . Thank you.
I feel your pain. I coached a travel basketball team back in 90's and early 2000's and we were given the concessions at a Fl. Panthers hockey match for fund raising. We went through the same process except we had our training day right before the match. It was an absolute nightmare in the beginning. We e didn't figure out what we were doing until the third period. It was a very long day. I called out sick at my job the next day. The good thing is we made money.
😂🤣 Shameful Mr. Chuck..Way to stay strong during that moment 💪🏾 Mrs. Cherie 🍺🌭🍫🍿I didn't work in the concession stand but I have been a Team Mom(providing meals when the team travels)..No Ma'am and No Sir..If I don't have the skills..I stay in my lane 🤣🤣.. Pretty sure my sons have completely forgotten about all the 🍩 and 🍫 I tried to sale to family/friends and coworkers 😂.. Not that much of a Krispy Creme 🍩 fan anymore or 🍫 with the teams name on it 😂🤣.. Fundraising has advanced to flavored 🍿 canisters or special 🍪 dough nowadays 😂🤣.. Glad you decided to stay with Mr.Action Jackson Mrs. Cherie 😂🤣.. Thanks for sharing and bringing back those Super Parents sports memories ❤🙂
Our daughter showed dairy cattle for 11 years in 4-H. Our 4-H group helped run the ice cream stand at our county fair. Pure chaos! 😂 We didn't have a cash register. I refused to take money. When you needed more ice cream, you would have to go into the freezer truck to get the 5 gallon pails of whatever flavor you needed. On a hot day, we would all fight over who got that job. 😂
During all the years I was coaching high school wrestling I remember getting caught up in helping with the elementary tournament at the one school where they'd of course need the varsity team to run the tables and somehow I got talked into the helping at the concession stand. That lasted 45 minutes for me 😂 I had to tell all the mom's that I'm not wired for this, so they had to tag someone else in. I couldn't imagine having to do that job in a real stadium tho. Those elementary tournaments are crazy these days. That same day cops removed several parents for fighting etc... it was wild. I had to leave early altogether to keep my sanity
@@enroutewithchuckandcherie haha, nothing like a kid lashing out and chucking fun dip powder all over the table because he didn't get the right flavor. That was the last elementary tournament I ever went to.

You haven’t coached if you don’t have a good concession stand story 😂
