- The Air India Express on May 09 terminated around 25 cabin crew who reported 'sick' and didn't report to work. As per sources, the management terminated cabin crew members due to their ‘unprofessional behaviour’. The mass sick leave was considered a pre-meditated and concerted abstention from work without justifiable reason. The disruption caused by the mass sick leave affected more than 95+ flights of Air India Express between May 07, 08. Air India Express CEO, Aloke Singh also announced plans to reduce flight operations in the coming days.

Very good move. When employment given, they don't feel the value of work. Remove from job, then they will understand the value.
Good decision and change AI express Head Quarters from Kochi to Outside Kerala.....
Correct advice. Immediately shift AI head quarters from Kerala
Why ?
Its in Gurgaon. Who said its in Kochi
Should sack 50% to 60% of the staff who were used to Public sector laid back style of doing less than minimum work
Good move
Yes good move, when it guys facing layoffs. This guys are doing strikes. 1st save ur job. Now days getting job is very hard.
It's better to run a tea shop rather saluting to your boss. Even Bill gates will meet you. 😂 no one knows you may become next PM.
Excellent decision, we Indians have the habit of taking everything for granted. The best decision, it's a lesson for the youngsters too, not to take things lightly.
Taking sick leave is unprofessional right now. Wow!
chup, If i have leaves I can take them
@@vlexicalthey were not sick, applied sick leave and switched off phone too...ai express need to cancel plane and their reputation is spoiled.....
Sick leave is fine, but this planned sick leave to threaten the company is not
@@arkhambthere are rules get your facts this is too much the common person suffers no care for senior citizens this will happen to them also one day sack them.
Necessary to take strict action..
Might be salaries issue like performance issue in IT companies. Air India is not Govt company and don't expect Govt employees kind of relax job life. Employees and Mgmt need to sort out the issues for the carrier growth.
High time this is holding the country and the airlines to ransom are the crew from some other country, they forget one day they will be at the receiving end. Sick people.
India is a country where sacked employees return to their jobs with promotion and pending salaries. So nothing will happen to their jobs and they may get a promotion or increment !!!!. And the employees of AirIndia are notorious for activities that increase the problems of travelers.
Super thanks tata.plaese give chance new youths.thanks.
If sacking is unconstitutional, thens it's temporary 😅
Ohh so we used to call them mass bunks
Good... There are many other unemployed capable Cabin Crews to fill the Gap
Air India is a failure in administration because it has to arrange staff in case of employees absent or on leave❤❤❤
Very good move
Good decision
Stop recognizing the communist unions of Kerala and tell them to get lost.
Typical Sam Pitroda mentality of the Northees towards the people of South, whether it is employees or passengers
Attitude like this is what makes you run to bangalore for jobs. First allow companies to operate and make some profit.
Sam Pitrodas is American 😊
