Listening to Tharun bhaskar is such an eye-opener about Telugu film insdustry which I grew up on. Like dude is so articulate in expressing his thoughts & opinions without disrupting by 'ah's or 'umm's while simultaneously giving little anecdotes. And I loved shruthi's honesty❤️

Shobu is absolutely right about Salaar setback in box office in hindi belt. I can say as a prabhas fan, movie team should have presented Khansaar city, characters, trailers and promotion in the north to the audience very early like Rajamouli sir did to Bahubali movies & RRR, it's like Marinating audience in the content of movie. It would have made min of 700 to 800 crores instead of 500 in the first week, because the movie has that potential.
You are right abt promotions. Hombale did a terrible job, probably will take the cake as the worst out of all production houses Prabhas worked with after BB2. They even skipped TFI tradition of pre release that too for a mass film like Salaar. Salaar with Sep 28th release would hv easily made 1000+. Now it has literally half the screens it was supposed to hv on Sept 28th and still it will end its will get 600crs+ LT. Also Sept 28th release would'nt hv had such negativity & hostility frm Bwood media or distributors. Only good thing that came out if we look at this clash is Prabhas's solid ground level fandom, I mean dominating Dunki (huge actor director combo & actor coming with two ATBB) that too with less screens than Dunki puts Prabhas on a diff level altogether. It in a way showed TFI's resilience even when Bwood played dirty.
@@revanth84Bro first you have to understand that prabhas has zero stardum in Hindi if he has any kind of stardum than Radha shyam also take minimum 10 CR opening ,it only takes opening beacuse of kgf director .Now a days comedy movies is not working still due to srk and Raju hairani it almost collected 350 crores, and in entire media the salar collection beccame a joke in Mumbai people are literally laughing .

Shruti and Shobu Rock. Such clarity and good positive thoughts. Sai has to stop using word anxiety. He is a good guy but needs to be a better actor. Tharun the less said the better. He claims he has empathy but he is rude to all guys who don’t like his movie. So don’t talk just shoot and make better movies. No comments on Shreya. But the show is beautiful. Loved it. Best line was from shruti when she said movies need to he auditioned before audience. Wow that was

@@vinodreddy_27 That is true, but this panel is outrageously poor. Most of the actors on my list are smaller actors that I'm sure would've been HONORED to be a part of this discussion. I highly doubt an upcoming actor like Priyadarshi or Vaishnavi would reject a roundtable with The Baradwaj Rangan.

Absolutely agree with SDT on how Khansaar looks like a meaner version of the well-loved Wakanda! A nation/region so deeply rooted in its traditions while also dominating the rest of the world! Pity he got cut off at that point.

The panel does not exactly represent the telugu cinema of 2023. Baby , dasara , month of madhu, hi nanna etc , were the defining telugu movies of 2023. Could have invited members of the above mentioned films . Though Tharun and sai were good choices .

It's good to see how telugu film Industry how it has been a receipent of multi cultural cinema and been accepting content from all languages and not solely relying on one type of genre. It's really refreshing to see how this set of people understand what they have to give to the audience and what to expect. Tharun is really a technical genius when it comes to craft and movie making, he looks like a fool to everyone but when you look at his movies you understand how rooted and genuine his content is.

During the Film Companion South interview, Swathi dominated the conversation focusing on the Month of Madhu. Similarly in this discussion with Shruthi she consistently interrupts others steering the conversation entirely toward Salaar. What's the purpose of having someone like Tharun if he's relegated to the role of a mere spectator?
I am seeing that Shruthi adds point to topics and there host and Shobu almost talking bad about Salaar..She is correcting it and also i feel there is nothing wrong for actors talk about projects that they are super duper proud of...Tharun don't even there as spectator.He really talks good and give us hope that telugu cinema in good hands

Agree with Shobu...Rajamouli said the story of Magadheera and Eega before the movie...in our review of Salaar first Trailer (ruclips.net/video/qDKvYBq6wnI/видео.html), we spoke about exactly that about introducing the world but after seeing the film definitely family tree snippets would have been good.

Is it because of language issue? in every damn English round table you get shobu eventhough after Baahubali he hadnt made anything sig, tharun bhaskar everytime, thank god he didnt call rana, that guy too is in every other table for some reason. There r so many good artists from 2023 like Balagam, virupaksha, Baby, and others who came for a local round table.
Also shobu has good understanding of telugu films and market, he explains very clearly to other language critics

Sai Tej is clearly an amateur here, Bcoz of What he said about Keeda Cola seems to have looked down upon our very own talent like Tharun Bhascker. Moreover, why is he responding to every question though he was not asked.
