That dimple choreo wow
Your username is basically my last name in Korean
ClaydohBoon Oh really ? You’re called Boom ? It’s my pseudo as a dancer (also the bibimbap is indeed in honor of korea)
haha
@@ClaydohBoon mine is Boo!
I read that as simple =_=
I can't dance to save my life but everytime I listen to music I can always picture some choreography moves that would look good but my body is too awkward to actually do the moves.😭😭
omg I totally feel the same! I be sitting on public transport choreographing in my head, but when I try at home I can't do shit :/
Sameeee
YES. JUST YES.
Chyna Jones Excatly, I make a whole damn music video in my head then look like a dying fish while dancing for real.
sameee i thought i was the only one
When you come up with a good combo, try to test it out and realize it doesn't sync up with the music *AT. ALL!*
Yea, it is tough to sync dance choreograph with music unless you're using beginner moves. Whenever I do dance counts, I completely lose the feel of my dance cuz I am thinking in moves instead of movement. But if I focus on the movement, it's out of sync.
Shokai捷 hhhhh mee

But you can keep it in case you would choreograph again

Right on. I usually just follow already existing dance routines and use that as a foundation to map out my own routine.
BTS PPL aren't that bad
I watch a whole bunch of Kpop
Choreography and mix them together
lmao
Am I the only one that likes that idea
felt that
WHY IS THAT ME
@Karolina Grela Lol
I cant stop re-playing this 2:17
"See you later... Italian waiter"
That's your best one yet, Jessie.
Good job!
Only real fans know our ending farewell game 😏
Jessie is blushing
Could you do a video about dance vocabulary? I don't understand shit when I hear texture or any other thing related to dance since I didn't even start and I would like to have the basics.
When he talks about texture he means whether the moves should be slow, fast, smooth, or sharp etc I hope this helps. You can do the same move try it more fluid and then more sharp and you can see the contrast.
Lindsey Russell ooh okay thanks
This will help ya: blog.steezy.co/most-important-dance-terms/
When people say Ayyyyy during a dance, it usually means its good. You dont need to know all the words, just yell “Ayyyyyyy”
Well this came at the right time, i was just wondering how to choreograph my own stuff. Gonna be performing 1st time on stage in front of whole school in less than a month.
Break a leg man! That takes some serious guts 🔥🔥
Cinnamonstix thanks 🥰
Oh same man, i have to perf in front of my high school in two weeks, good luck
Boombibimbap good luck, are you prepared for it?
Marco Barot Thx ! Since i decided to make a mix from different songs, I haven’t totally finish my routine yet but since only one or two minutes left i guess it’s not that bad ?
Tbh I’m afraid that people won’t like my style so I tried to do different concepts but idk if it will be enough
Have you started to choreograph your piece ?
The problem with me is that i can do a choreography when theres a lot of people but i am having a hard time doing a solo routine
sameee!! It's easier to create a lot of dynamic and imagery with people (even 3 people you could create some awesome formations) but with one person it's hard to create that imagery cuz it's one singular spotlight? And you kinda of have to use every part of ur body (or atleast that's what I struggle with)
I'm trying to choreograph a routine for my dance audition and this helped me out, thanks qqqq
Flora oh! Good luck! Although you’ve probably already been
So, how did it go?
Next month there is going to be an event at school where students who want can showcase their talents and I'm a bit nervous because it's my first time choreographing and performing a solo dance routine in front of more than 200 people! But this video has come in handy, thank you so much Steezy!
How did it go? 🙂
omg same
Another TIP: Be sure to think about the people who aren’t able to dance as well as others!!
Lazaria Thorne I don’t get what you mean could you explain me please ? 😶
Boombibimbap be sure to come up with moves that work for every level of dance (beginner, intermediate, etc.) instead of these crazy hard moves that certain ppl can’t keep up with :)
Here's a tip for you! Choose a dance class that works within your own limits! Don't try to change others to suit yourself!
Like your tip and pfp

I like to listen to hype music when I warm up. I’ve been dancing since I was 4 but stopped for a few years and now at 40 I’m dancing again. It’s important to stay current as a dancer and sort of get innovative in the process.
This just made me realize how complicated choreographing can be...
This made me realize how simple choreographing can be ;-; why am I so weird
this was really helpful and straight to the point, thank you!!
Love this video its so welcoming for new dancers and fun and easy for every one! Beautiful editing also!
Thanks, I'm like performing with my one of my best friends in front of our school in less than 2 weeks, so I needed this!
Thank you for the good tips. This really helps a lot to me. 😊
Ahh I'm excited! Can't wait till I made up my own choreography dances. I already have a few in mind, and have been known by many other people that I can make up a dance move as I dance to a song that I've never heard of before. I hope it goes well!
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZINGGGGG!
Wow! Really good tips you guys! Thank you for breaking it down!
Thank you so much Steezy I have been watching videos from you and they all really helped me!!! I'm still struggling with creating choreographs and even free styling. I got a pop up performance in my school's rally IN TWO WEEKS! hope I can slay it TT
Perfect timing!!

Thank you guys =]
They really makes it so much easier and fun😂
What helps me choreography dance is listening to a song over and over again
i do a cool freestyle and i try to do it again and i just mess it up the second time.
I'll surely do it 💓🥺
"Why are you making a choreo?" *sad trainee noises*
Dang you're a trainee??
SO HELPFUL THANKS SO MUCHHHH STEEZY
YOU'RE VERY VERY WELCOME KIMBERLYYYYY
Thank you 😊
This video is soooo gooooood 💕
Thanks so much
That Genuinely Help me
You guys are ADORBS! Loved this. Can't wait to watch video on using concepts to create moves. I have "dabbled" in many kinds of dance in my life and I have one year to prepare to choreograph a dance piece for a group (size TBD) of children (skills TBD) living in the slums of Kolkata to be performed for international audiences (type of people TBD.) It's for a charity org that works with this population and it's volunteer on my part. Thanks for your HELP! I need it.
Great Tips! So inspiring! After I have a routine down and have done dress rehearsals I like to practice it with distractions - like having a friend yell at me and turn the music up and down and even shine lights in my eyes - on the night it can be a real shock to have a crowd yelling and clapping and reacting and you may be nervous so rehearsing with some distractions can help you feel what it may be like when there is an audience. That way you are more prepared for that when it happens and you know how to maintain focus outside the controlled rehearsal space.. Sometimes the person playing the music can start the track late or have it turned down too low or even put on the wrong track etc etc - I find it is better, if that happens, to call a stop and make a little bit of fun out of making them start it again. "Hey hey - stop it - that's not how the show goes - you started the track too late - let's do it again DJ - I'm gonna show you how it's really meant to be - are you ready? Ok then - let's take it from the top!" etc etc. It is essential to do a rehearsal at the venue in the space. If it is some crowded venue without a stage manager make sure you check the stage is clean and free of debris or glasses etc etc - get a friend to help prepare the stage right before you go on if needed. Rehearse how you will leave the stage at the end as well - maybe a show, maybe waving and blowing kisses as you exit etc etc - that can finish it off nicely. Also if there is a group it is good to have a plan if someone makes a mistake or something to keep going - so even if one person may stop due to untied shoe lace or something you know to keep going . Or maybe if it is in the first 30 sec you have a plan to stop and start again.
Cooool!!!
Can you do a video of how to mix songs?!!
Great insight!!!
So helpful AND entertaining 😂😂❤
I just subscribed. Thanks for the input
Great ideas
I used to dance a lot, about a year ago I had to quit taking dance lessons because of other sports that I do.
I was hoping I could still continue on dancing and choreograph my own dances from home so that way I wouldn’t entirely miss out on it, and just in case I ever get the chance again I’ll be ready to head full on back into dance.
very useful and entertaining. thank you
900th likeee!!! Thx for the tips!!
The editor needs a raise
Amazing
cool video !! you are really fun :)
Cool dancing people
Awesome
I can’t really dance but I’m going to perform at a cosplay contest for the first time and this video really helped me with making a dance choreography
Some people lack vocabulary (like me hehe) when trying to make a choreo. It is not only about in-between gestures, I also need to know the moves/steps that I will be using. There are hundreds of moves/steps in dance styles, some have names and creators (even a year and a story behind - make sure to learn the right one), some dont. Its also important to have the balance between these steps and the gestures.
Steezy always reads my mind on their content making😂💜💜💓💓

I'm taking a dance class during my spring term of college this year. This video might just literally save my butt, and I've never taken any dance classes before, so I can't wait to see if I'm coordinated or not lol
I teach my first dance class next Friday and I’m so nervous I’m coming up with the choreography now and I’m freaking out lol
THANKS
It would be awesome to see how Brian puspos choreograph his dance, he has so much details in his choreo. Please make a video of him doing that!
I've been using a free editor called Kdenlive (Linux and Windows) and it's nice because I can cut the song and then it's ready for adding video (in the age of online contests and events especially useful) but I can also use the video channel to add notes using the text option, or I can insert little clips or drawings of what I want to do. I've mostly been making up my own stuff based on lyrics but I want to learn more of proper form. Or at least whatever I am able to within my disability.
I've started to dance Jazz this year and I have my first "evaluation" at the end of the year. I have to make my own choreography based on a movie hahaha I hope it works out 🙏🙏
That dimple moves..😂😁
im really over here learning how to choreograph during quarantine
A really nice
Great
Wow, majik.
Im choreographing the dances for my girl group!
Ok but that dimple move got me 😏
I have an idea for a dance. It's in the classics, and it's like, 20 minutes long with animal movements. Your advice is perfect for me because I made the idea of the choreography and planning to teach the dance steps myself. Im an early teen, but hopefully I will teach it in the future.
As I'm watching this video my brain has left my head, and gone on vacation.
YAAASSSSS
Hey, I but wanted to say that YOU CAN'T EXPECT YOUR BODY TO MAKE A FULL SELFMADE DANCE IN ONE OR TWO TRIES, keep going, practice is the KEYWORD in here if you do it only 2 times or something it'll definitely won't work except you're like a professional professional dancer lol.
Carly is awesome
Thank you #sheezy
i make songs and sometimes i choreograph parts of them but its intimidating to think about choreographing a whole dance for every song but i guess what i need 2 do :p
I’m watching Steezy and I got a Steezy ad
I need a tutorial of that dimple choreo
Thanks for the advice :D
but you guys should really find a way to improve the audio in the video. It would make it 10x more enjoyable :D
I'm currently making a dance but I don't know what the style of the dance is, it's like a robotic type of movement with a lot of precise and perfect stops and clean cuts. I honestly don't like how to explain it! 😭🤣
this might help me
LMAO the way clay landed out of his double tho 😂 but it wasnt bad lol
🔥
What music editor can I use? Btw this is so helpful. Thank you steezy!
Steezy, an important question here!
Audacity is simple and free! I’d recommend it
you can use WAVEPAD and COOL EDIT PRO.
Audacity is free, easy to use and simple and also have lot of tutorials in youTube
ok so I have to make a choreography in 5 weeks for a performance about empowerment. I've tried making choreographies before but have never finished one because eventually I would get stuck. I'm going to try these tips and I'll let u know how it goes!!
The dimple move 😂😂
