  • It's an unusual lesson today because we are going to learn new Russian words from real life. Right in the kitchen. Why you still can't speak Russian after learning all the cases and other grammar topics? You hardly ever talk. My advice is to comment everything you do during the day. It will help you learn new words and become fluent.

Thank you very much. Very good vocabulary in everyday life. I cannot speak Russian since I know more grammar:) long time ago I didn’t know much I wandered in Russia Ukraine without fear , never bother with conjugation just use infinitive and use helping verb with future tense and past tense. :) now I systematically learn Russian with cases , tense , verb pair but stop speaking Russian altogether out of fear.

Thanks a lot, I started learning Russian with the method of "comprehensible input" because I'm kinda allergic to grammar (I view it as a help from time to time, but I prefer to acquire by myself the rules), and your channel is really hepful! A lot of simple sentence and vocabulary perfect for beginners, and the translations/transcriptions are so useful!
I'm pretty happy to explore your channel and to start learning there, before trying more complicated content!

Excellent, Excellent, and more Excellence from your beginning Russian lessons! I have surf through many youtube videos and found nothing compare to yours. Basic level on speaking and listening skills that can be readily be develop without difficulty. It really helps when you have subtitles both in English and Russian. It saves a lot of time without bouncing around with a translation dictionary or through Google/Yandex Translation. I think you're onto something when teaching this beautiful language. Previously have studied diligently in grammars, declensions, conjugations, and the whole nine yards. Found myself stuck unable to speak and listening skills were terrible to say the least. There's no other videos quite like yours. Besides this is a fun way of learning and very enjoyable lessons that's not taxing on the mind or boring. Drudgery kills motivation. Your lessons are a breath of fresh air.

@@speakthelanguage5986 Thank you for your comment! Just keep doing what you been doing! It's really simple and not hard in thinking too much. It has to be fun. Looking forward to learn Russian without saying to yourself. "Do I have to go through the motions when lessons are so dry and arduous". Don't get me wrong. It definitely takes hard work, dedication, and commitment. That comes into play. But lessons should be fun and I should always looking forward to studying Russian each time hitting the lessons. The subtitles both in English and Russian should always be in every videos. It helps tremendously. Please don't change that format on your future videos. I have been through many private tutors whether in person or live on-line lessons. Haven't yet found any to my liking. Hey! it is what it is. But on the other hand I'll keep searching to find that special tutor. Utmost importance in my opinion is compatibility. Should be able to read the other person's traits and character. And vice versa. So glad that I found you and will support you in the near future. Will let you know when I'll find that private tutor. Getting close. It's all in God's will when that time comes.

I just discovered your channel. Yes this is exactly what people need to do in order to learn a language. A lot of us are not exposed to the language every day, or we do not have a native speaker to which we can model what they are saying live at the moment. If i was able to be with a native speaker while the person is doing a certain activity i would pick up how to speak and vocabulary and would learn Russian much faster just like a child learns. Do you think you could do videos where the format is two people doing a certain activity, make videos based on themes? Like Cooking, running, walking in the park, shopping, in the office, driving, talking about the weather etc? I think this would help people tremendously.

Hello, nothing to feel about 🙂
Normally we say: хочу + accusative case( inanimate nouns do not change) - хочу хлеб, молоко, сыр и ТД.
Хочу + genitive case means that a person doesn't want to drink or to eat all of this, only a part: хочу молока, хлеба, чая 🙂
      Хочу чая means that
