I'm south African and thank you very much for this video acknowledging a few of Africa's greatest players however they were of the best in the world and not just Africa's sadly none of them won the ballandore award not even nominated for the most prestigious award an individual can attain which puts a serious negative mark on world football

Not really that fussed by the numbers of goals, Pelè impacted WORLD FOOTBALL in a way that had never been seen. Brazil as a country is known by most football fans as a country in love with football. Imagine Brazilian football before Pelè then you will understand his impact and subsequent Brazilian teams. Then came Maradona, Then R9 Ronaldo then Zidane, Ronaldinho ,Messi (doesn’t have the same impact on Argentina as Maradona ), Ronaldo

Nah.. Pele was including goals he scored in friendlies, exhibitions and in training. When all the goals were fact checked he still scored over 1000 but not as many goals in competitive games as he claimed.

King George Weah won Ballon D’or, African Footballer of the year two times, European Footballer of the year and World Best in 1995. There has never been any African player to win any title out of Africa since 1995. He was and still the only player who won the World Best without playing in the World Cup. FIFA could not give the title to anyone else because George Weah dominated the game.
Without doubt, Pele remains the greatest football player ever. I thank God for meeting Pele in 1977 when he visited Starehe Boys Centre and School. I was then a primary school oupil at the nearby Dr. Aggrey Primary School.

Until pele’s name came up, I thought it was a list of African player. Other than pele it is an African not black list. Where is Nkono Thomas (GK) of Cameroon - probably the best goalkeeper the world has ever seen but of course whites will think it is Lev Yachine, or others.

Aged 17, Maradona couldn't get into his nation's team..even in a home World Cup. Four years later, he was the only difference in a World Cup winning squad. He made no difference. Messi Aged 17 was still on growth hormones.
There is no skill Pele did not author or master..many he did for the first time. His weaker foot better than the stronger of all others. His heading abilities cannot be surpassed, neither can his touch using thighs, chest, inside and outside of either foot.
Apart from over a thousand goals, Pele scored 92 first class hattricks and his three World Cups will never be matched either.

This top 10 is questionable - I mean Jay Jay does not rank above Didier nor does Samuel nor Yaya. Didier for his part should be after George, Pele and be fourth behind Mohammed (Salah) in Africa in terms of African goal poachers. They also left out Eusebio who was born in Mozambique and played for Portugal who should be in third place. That is the top 5 goal scorers of all time whose prowess is unparalleled. If you argue that Mo is not Black then a player who is even better than him who played alongside him is Sadio to complete the top 5 list.
And yes, Edson Arantes aka Pele is indeed the top scorer of all time and his Brazilian club confirmed the goals that he scored
