  • Although medical cannabis became legal in November 2018, almost no NHS prescriptions have been handed out due to strict, yet confusing guidelines. Matt Hughes, whose son Charlie suffers from a rare form of epilepsy, is going to the high court to mount the first legal challenge against the guidelines, in the hopes of providing his son - and other patients - with the life-changing treatment they so desperately need. We’re also joined by Hannah Deacon, whose son Alfie was the first epileptic child to receive the prescription after the law changed, as well as neurologist Dr Mike Barnes to explain more about the effectiveness of medicinal cannabis.
