But when he had to rely on his own skills, he proved that he was more qualified to run a lemonade stand than an 'Original 6' franchise. Only more pathetic than Sather is the owner who tolerated and encouraged such mediocrity.

This year is the Bruins' turn.Considering the results Monty got in the past two regular seasons, I have to think that something changed and he lost the locker room this year. The mistakes the Bruins have made consistently all season long are completely unacceptable for a pro team. That said, firing the coach will do nothing to elevate the level of talent the B's are putting on the ice every night. IMO, Sweeney needs to go as well. The moves he made in the 2022-2023 season worked beautifully until Florida came back from 3-1 down to win the series in game 7, in Boston.
