I'm surprised with how well the 3050 performed. I'm planning on a new build with that case specifically. My first build was in the Cougar MX330 which has a 1060 and a R5 2600. I finally can afford a rebuild so I'm going 4080 and R7 3700x. This case caught my eye. I'm surprised cougar doesn't get as much recognition for their cases. They're amazing to build in and the temps are amazing.
I feel so confident with this build and to be able to build it myself, but in my country 3050 starts at $600 (only on the day of release ie 28th Jan), now the Asus vaariant is avaiable at $750 :(

Just focus on your education my dude, that is the important part. You cannot get this build for anywhere near $850, the GPU alone is $670 right now using *HIS* link in the description and the price will not be dropping significantly any time soon. If you're interested in becoming a Game Dev that's great, it can be done on Laptops but at the end of the day Desktop components will be much better suited for that use case. Cheers

Actually I see the GPU between $400 and $500 but the 1070 has fallen In Price from Above $400 to Below $400 and It's that cards Eqv - Ray tracing and DLSS The ASUS ROG model had a $499 MSRP and It is probably above $600 but I have seen 3050s under $500 but the Rx 6600 has been below $500 for a while and still see some different models under $450. *Those may sell out soon like the Msi Mech model I saw at $460* and the price will be from another seller. But If you don't want to take a gamble on AMD the GTX 1080 or RTX 2060 6gb have been popping up a lot on Ebay for under $500

I3-12100f is the equivalent of i5-11400f even tho has has 2 cores less, but supports same ddr4 3200 mhz memory like i5 but i5 doesnt support newest ddr5 which i3 12th gen does. Wonder whats the price difference

Rx 6600 would give at least 10-15 fps more

@@k.o.t.o.n. might reccomend water cooling for a 12600k since it can be over locked and a bit hot. In that case maybe a 120mm rad would be good
