Luckily, rtx 3050, according to some leaks, won't be great for crypto mining. That'll help a lot. And i think i3 12100f well be the perfect cpu to avoid bottleneck of any kind

My goal was to get a 3060 ti last year from my 2060 , I imagine that the ray tracing is better than my 2060 but I wonder how it holds up against the 3050

I had the same goal I got an ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 (non LRH) in 2021 after selling my MSI GTX 980 to cover most of the extra costs. Rocked that card in my X99 build and never overclocked it and I actually had a pleasant experience playing Cyberpunk with it in 1080p with most settings on medium and the rest on low. With the 3060 Ti all looks fancier of course.
rtx 2060 are faster but slower then rx 6600 and price of rtx 3050 are on paar with rx 6600
Yeah the 2060 is better then 3050 like 10 FPS on some games and even more on games like fortnite
I wouldn’t pay more than $300 for a 3050. I would like to pick one up, but it doesn’t look like it will happen. I did a 10th Gen build around Black Friday for roughly $300 (already had the case and what barely passes for a GPU).

you only got 10fps increase when changing dlss to balanced because of the cpu. It goes to 100%
980 ti is a really good budget card can pick 1 up for $200
I play borderlands 3 on ultra and stay steady at about 70 to 80 FPS
if you double it you cann get a 3070
or a 3060

I got my rtx 3050 for 250 dollars local here in South Africa. We do have 80 dollars import fees. The card was 330 dollars so take 80 dollars off and its 250 dollars. Quite a steal if you as me. The rx 6600 is 380 dollars.

Nice job with the i3 pairing. Seems like with the 3050 the CPU is never the bottleneck. Crazy how i3s are better than i7s just a few generations ago.
I use the i5 9th gen with rtx 3050 works great honestly can't complain
almost equal to the i3 12100f just a little slower from experience I think the amd version out performs the 3050 but its not all bad with there applications I use 24GB as mines older it takes a little more resources to run best
runs pretty well for a 1080p device and most games look great with dlss or rtx at medium-high settings surprisingly well actually

If you have a 10th Gen i3 the 3050 is the highest end GPU you can get that won't bottleneck your CPU & you get Ray Tracing.
They cost 600 euros here in Belgium, a few years ago you could buy a decent whole desktop for that money.

I spent all day yesterday watching pre-roll out videos on the card. One with good sources has said there will not be good amounts to be available on initial release and trickle amounts for first weeks.

The MSRP is listed on the big box stores but there is none available 1600 west coast time. I went into PC parts picker and no one has a card available in their partners. The range of prices were MSRP to plus 110 dollars.

thats not an upgrade. theyre basically the same. 2060 is slightly better in some games and 3050 is slightly better in others

With my ryzen 5 2600 and the same gpu i have a lot of Drops in Games and only the half of the fps as from the videos with the same things.The rtx 3050 is only 60-70 percent in usage and in fortnite the down arrow from the fps Drops often down and so the fps are laggy. Please help me
So… do you think the i3-10105F will run (fairly well with a low bottleneck) with the RTX 3050?
Should be no problem. CPU bottleneck is pretty hard to reach in gaming. Most builds you see online leave loads of headroom on the cpu.

in AAA games, cpu isnt the bottleneck, gpu is. so i guess it will work. there is no difference between 12900k and 10100f in 4k with a 3080

Mid-range/High-end? 3050 has similar performance to 1070 which was mid-range/high end in 2016. 3050 is a low-end card (despite price).

@@GamerdaXtremz I've had fx5200. when i bought my first PC, and i thought that it is ok gaming card for that time which was BS of course. Such cards should not be even considered modern gaming - capable as this is misleading for the customer.
@@SilverWolfPL At $249 MSRP isn’t bad for an entry level RTX, but ATM everything is a mess with corona and scalpers increasing prices by 200% on RTX 3050.
BTW my first GPU was 8600 gt playing every game maxed 900p, until Just Cause 2 wow that game doesn’t have optimization. Well what you can expect from Square Enix game. 🤷♂
@@GamerdaXtremz Yeah current GPU prices are horrible. For entry level gaming now it is wise to consider Xbox Series S instead of buying whole PC with overpriced GPU.

Been looking to getting into pc gaming but don’t wanna spend to much any ideas
like everyone is saying , right now gpu prices are way too high because of scalpers , you can go for a build that doesnt need a gpu who can still play good games at 1080p 60fps , which is the ryzen 5 3400g processor (with integrated graphics cards) i have currently this processor for 1 year now and i can honestly say i think its the besy option for a budget gaming pc right now , i cant spend 400 dollars on a gpu that was at 180$ ,
Really tough time right now. Best budget build using used parts.... ryzen 5 2600 b450 mobo 16gb dual channel 3000mhz ram. Wd blue 500gig m.2 ssd. 600 watt psu. Now the gpu is the issue. I would watch facebook for some decent deals. Entry level 1080p gaming I would say the gtx 1060 6gb or a rx580 8 gb. Both can handle modern titles with tweeked settings. You can get a 1060 for around 250 on Facebook marketplace from what I've seen. But if you can spend a little extra. All in all you will be close to 600$ to 700$ depending on the pc case also. You can get a basic micro atx case for 25$ on amazon

Also this platform will be very easy to upgrade, that is the build I started with. I upgraded my cpu and gpu but all the other parts are the same. Upgraded to a ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 2080 super. One thing to note is that the 2600 would work well with the 2080 super also. 2080 super has basically the same performance as a 3060ti
