The "77 '70s musicians who passed away" video is unavaliable to watch for me. Anyone else have that same problem?
@@gabrielbevis1961 i have the same issue my friend
RIP to all these wonderful musicians. My heart gets broken every single year with the amount of talented artists we lose. At least their memory remains in their iconic songs.
Sorry kc
Can't believe how young some of then passed away. I'm 41 so I grew up listening to all of them.
It's so sad that some of the musicians on this list died so young. We sure had the greatest ones like Lisa Lopes, Scatman John, Kurt Cobain, Nate Dogg, Zac Foley and Tony Thompson. Freddie Mercury as well. The Show Must go on was Queen's song which sadly showed the last apperance of Freddie Mercury alive. A lot of them made our days. But their music will still live on. Rest In Peace
And its my favourite song From Queen
Most of them died young unfortunately. ☹️
@Sam Va and cancer
If you ever have a chance, Todd in the Shadows did a great video on Scatman John and it was heartwarming. Gave me a better appreciation of him and that even though "Scatman" was a one-hit wonder, the story about how he got to where he is was touching.
@@magnusbley1665 aMy too
As someone born in the early 70s, these artist provided the soundtrack to my beach days and clubbing nights back in the 1990s. I know each generation thinks they have the greatest music artist of all time, but for me this is the music of my youth and is special to me. When I hear so much modern music you can't help but think 'oh, they ripped off [insert artist from my youth] sound.'
Rock n Roll Heaven has One Hell of a Band.
I want a front-row seat to that band when I get there! But I get what you mean, despite growing up a 2000's kid, my dad just never liked modern music then or now. So my early music memories are 20th-century music which I'm not complaining about. It's my jam.
Rest in Peace to all singers who past away Legends of music
It's "passed", not "past".
Rest In Peace to all the artists that embraced us with such talent...
Rest in Peace Tupac, Freddie and Scatman John and all other Great singers
tupac is my fav singer i watch his death on: famous crime scene
They all deserved better than how their lives ended, especially Kurt Cobain.
What an aweful feeling -I listen to these artists almost every day on my favorite radio, and I didn't know that so many of them had gone being so bright and young...
Very sad RIP to all the wonderful artists gone but not forgotten.
I can't believe that we've lost so many talented musicians, with Meatloaf being the most recent. 😢💔
Same. I feel like Mark E Smith (The Fall) (born 1957, died 2018, aged 60) would be a perfect honorable mention and another musician to cover in a future video
Well, if you consider Fred Mercury a 90's musician, than you should've definitely included David Bowie who had some of the best albums that decade. Also Peter Steel from Type O Negative.
Was trying to figure out how half of those musicians were 90's when they didn't produce anything after 1985.
Peter Steele is one of my favorite 90s musicians tbh
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinks David Bowie was mentioned in 2016 since he was the first one to passed away that year
Freddie Mercury was a late 60's musician
Alex Star this video was misleading because Michael Jackson,Freddie Mercury,Prince,Whitney, Heavy D,MCA from the Beastie Boys,George Michael,Meatloaf,Lolita Holloway,Luther Vandross etc did not start in the 90's he needs to change that title.
I’m so happy that Layne Staley was recognized. He gets overlooked a lot.
R.I.P. to all these musicians. I hope they are doing well in heaven.
Excelentes bandas ótimas músicas perfeitas saudades dos anos 80 e 90 saudades
R.I.P. everyone in this video.
Also, I feel like Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul from Pantera should be included in this video.
*RIP Scatman John,* a visionary and a dreamer for a world where peace and love reign supreme.
So sad to see so many passed so young. Only 10 people on this list made it past 60. More than half passed before 50. RIP to all.
all this amazing talent and most died really young but not before making a mark on all of us with their singing.. i can listen to most if not all of their music over and over and never get bored of it. that's when you know they really had a gift.
RIP to all those musicians:(
Thanks a bunch for making this. Rest in peace to all of the young musicians.
It isn't fair for young musicians to die so young especially when they started their career at a young age or at teenage age they deserved more then dying in their 20's and 30's.
Qué pena de tantos artistas que desconocía que han muerto, una gran tristeza para mi corazón 😢
There are some missing...like David Bowie or Peter Steele from Type O Negative... I didn't know some of these people had left us...and was sadly reminded of those who have.
Mark Hollis too. He was such a talent and such a beautiful voice.
One half of status qou Rick parrfit
COOLIO. He died on September 28 2022
I know bowie wasnt really popular in the 90s but he should've been included right before prince
I agree 100%. Bowie had some of the best albums in the 90's, wtf
You mean before Jim Reeves of Sqeezer. Jim died on February 1st, 2016 and Bowie died January 10th, 2016 from liver cancer
great compilation keep it up😇
RIP to all. Thank you STG for this video.
R.I.P To All These Musicians And Singers Who Are No Longer With Us
But Thier Music Still Lives On
The Show Must Go On In Heaven
Love your Videos. ❣️
Keep it up.❣️
Greetings from Germany 💞
🥰🤗
Rip Eazy E (1964- 1995). He was a member of the 80’s hip hop group NWA.
I’m happy you finally decided to include Adam Yauch
RIP to all these wonderful artists, George Michael😭😭😭😭
This video made me so sad. Such great souls and awesome musicians
Show Must Go Ooooonn!!!
Finally, a positive comment. Thanks for this. Was getting depressing
@@BillBiggs1 :)
A lot of musicians may have died young but people all over the world still and will remember them for many years to come. We on the hand will die and no one will remember us besides few close relatives.
RIP to these amazing and influential artists like 2Pac, Biggie, Selena, MJ and Aaliyah to name a few who I recognize. And some love to Eazy-E who I feel a lot of people forgot about, RIP to them all we all miss ya.
3:54 damn that hurt I was just listening to Warrant before this video. Such an amazing singer and honestly it’s a shame Cherry Pie is what he’s known for because he had so many more incredible songs that should never be forgotten. Also another person who I think should be on the list is Jeff LaBar from Cinderella. They did songs like You Don’t Know What You’ve Got Till It’s Gone, Shake Me, Nobody’s Fool and many other awesome songs. Jeff was an awesome guitarist and it was so sad to see him go
Cinderella is more of a 80s band
Agreed, if Warrant's Jani Lane qualifies for this list, so does Cinderella's Jeff LaBar. Cinderella's album Heartbreak Station was released in 1991.
He hit his head so bad that he's crying
he needs to shut up
I do not even miss him
I love you for the ending of the video.
Really well done
RIP 🙏😪. Donna Summer, the disco Queen also passed away in 2012 at age 64 (1948-2012). Maria Mendiola from Baccara passed away in 2021 (age 69),Raffaella Carra also passed away in 2021 (age 79).
Yes, she was working hard for the money.
Donna Summer wasn't in 1990s same as Rafaella Carra and Maria Mendiola there were more popular in 1970s. Christ da F is wrong with some of the people 🤦♂️
@@piotrjasinski2130 Donna Summer released some albums in the 90s, but with modest succses. Her only hit of 90s was I Will go with you (1999).
@@berkcan5602 thanks I forgot :/
@@piotrjasinski2130 ✌️✌️✌️
Very moving tribute. I'm 40 so I remember most of these, some whose songs I'd remember but not their names and some I was very much a fan of. I cried when Dolores O'Riordan died - not only was I a 90s teen I was an Irish 90s teen.)
Oh my goodness, there are so many that were so young💫a lot of tunes 🎶will be remembered forever✌️💙🤗
This video made me cry... I was a teen all 90s long, grow with these musics... I'm really nostalgic with this Era, the best period in my life
Especially glad to see that Melanie Thornton and Diane Charlemagne were not left off this list. Two great talents that are not as well known as some of the others. RIP to all.
Im sorry who?
@@melaniekaufman7984 Melanie Thornton was the lead singer for La Bouche and Diane Charlemagne was lead singer for Urban Cookie Collective.
@@darrenthorne6247 Diane was also the vocalist on a number of dance tracks, like Goldie's "Inner City Life" & High Contrast's "If You Ever". It isn't common for vocalists to be credited on dance tracks unless they're already a big name, so a lot more common in the 2010s - when the likes of Rihanna were doing it - but not the 90s & 2000s.
There's also Bradley Nowell from Sublime, Steve Clark from Def Leppard and Eddie Van Halen
So many memories with the musicians you play Random...I will never look at the "cause of death" list you have. I don't want to hear, might be me next. Love the vids Bro and thank you!!!
Thanks Random 👍🏻🙂
Also Steve Clark of Def Leppard, Jeff Labar of Cinderella, Eddie Van Halen, Dinebag and Vinnie Paul of Pantera, Tim Kelly of Slaughter, Nick Menza of Megadeth, also Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Bill Monroe, Roy Acuff, BB King, Chuck Berry, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse... the list goes on.
As Far as I know Amy Winehouse wasn't a 1990s musician. She released her debut album in 2003 and not like 1993
Roy Acuff didn't had any hits in the 90s
@@piotrjasinski2130 Doesn't mean he wasn't a 90s musician. He was still playing at Grand Ole Opry until 1992.
@@andrewdog-gonewaylon5915 but he's not a 90s artist period lol. You have on your honorable Mentions list people who were famous in 30s, 50s, 60s, and 2000s. And from the 90s you have very few from the list
Coolio August 1 1963- September 28 2022
You should include Gerald Levert (1966-2006) for either 80s list (Levert) or 90s list (solo) if it could be up to 100 90s musicians.
Thank you all for many beautiful songs. r.i.p
100 70s musicians who passed away please upload soon
2:30 Maurice Gibb was the best funniest man ever and I really like the music instruments especially keyboard, guitar and drums.
4:17 Robin Gibb was the angelic voice based on the official music video.
Almost one decade ago, when Robin was passed away in 2012 and he is the best singer of the brothers.
He surely will be missed 😭😭😭😭
Greetings from the Philippines 🇵🇭 😇🙏
True. I really do miss them. Maurice was the funniest man to exist for sure, but Robin had a voice of an Angel. Rest In Peace
@@piotrjasinski2130 yes 👍 they surely will be missed and they are together in heaven.
I really miss both of them based on the music video.
So many gone too soon. 😢
I was about ask, "What about Chester Bennington in 2017?" Then I realized it was a list of 90's musicians.
My guess would be because Linkin Park was popular in the early 2000's but I could be wrong.
@@dm9489yes, that's what I said in my comment above.
Thanks to these artists for the wonderful memories. You'll will live forever through you'lls music 🙏.
It’s epic that this video includes some musicians from the 70’s who had at least a few hits in the 90’s. (And not just musicians born in the 60’s and/or 70’s)
You missed: Jam Master Jay (Run DMC, Died October 30, 2002. Murder.) Eddie Van Halen. (Van Halen, Died October 7, 2020. Lung Cancer.) Both of these guys were still going strong in the 90's, even though they got their start in 70's/80's. So they count.
Edward didn't died of Lung Cancer, he died of a throat one October 6th, 2020. And Yes Jason Mizell had it's hit single It's Tricky from 1990s
@@piotrjasinski2130 OK. Sorry, my mistake. I thought it was lung cancer. VH also had hit singles in the 90's as well. Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do), Humans Being, Right Now, Poundcake, etc.
I'm still sad that Aaliyah and Left Eye died.
Same. Life is unfair
Life is short and like a dream goes on..We always miss the past years🥺
That really is shocking. I did not realise that many of these had snuffed it but what's so frightening is that many of them were sooo bloody young. Rip and thanks for being a huge part of my growing up process and memories.

Some I didn't know thanks 💋
I cried watching this video my childhood songs ,God 🙏 bless all of them , they are in heaven and singing in a choir
I can't believe that so much people died to young :(

Rest in peace to all these 90s artists
I still can't believe it about Dolores O'Riordan
Why?

Oh and Rest In Peace to Taylor Hawkins (Drummer for Foo Fighters) who died yesterday March 25, 2022 . Aged 50

Omg so much talent gone and they were so young
Incredibly sad, and hearing the songs strikes memories in me that makes me feel more sad
The legacy is eternal ✨

This has made me feel so so sad. Even more so seeing the list below of causes ;( ;( ;(
Some of them were 70s and 80s but still R.I.P.
But they had hits during the 90s and therefore meet the criteria of this video.
Tiffini Hale from the 90's pop group the Party, which was a spin off act from the 90's Mickey Mouse Club, could be on this list. She had a heart attack on Christmas, went into a coma and died a few days later. She was 46.
Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf couldn't do in life without each other, and also not in death.
RIP
@KateTheRobloxGirl670 Jim Steinman's song "More", sung by the Sisters of Mercy, was number one for five weeks in the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks, starting 15 December 1990.
@@Lovuschka Also "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", which was a hit for Céline Dion in 1996.
@@TheAmarok87 Yea, I heard there was some earlier rendition, but I only know the one by Meat Loaf.
@@Lovuschka the first version was by Steinman's Pandora's Box project. Meat Loaf actually wanted to record the song since the 1980s, but Steinman saw it as a "woman's song" and actually took Meat Loaf to court to stop him recording it.
A few of these left out several singers and groups out. The Cars and from that group, Benjamin Orr who had his first album The Lace . He was taken away way to soon he passed in 2000 at the age of 53 and Ric O passed away 2018 or 2019. It’s sad when you lose someone that and they’re not included in the list.
