The Sex Pistols only released one proper album, Never Mind The Bollocks! One of my favourite albums! They were only hated because they had the balls to highlight how shit life was for the working class in Britain during the 70s!!
I liked Genesis with Peter Gabriel. Loved how tall Joey just always stood there. Bugles was all about perfect timing. Muskrat Love was a America song. Zep as the greatest band, I don't believe in a greatest band. Grand Funk's album cover on their first was quite the talk. The Carpenters...hate to admit I know all the words to Close To You. Kiss was a show not unlike Alice Cooper, a much better show. I played Black Sabbath to scare the other kids. The Doors..... So many good bands that were hated? I thought Bad Company was from Canada. REO was good until they wouldn't let Gary play his guitar. Sex Pistols was a gas.
If the Eagles were so hated why have they sold over 200 Million albums worldwide?
Although these bands were the most hated in the 70's, I would like to be in any one of them.
