The Swiss job market is running hot and in desperate need for talent. Its easy to get residency if you have an EU citizenship. Else it get way more restrictive.
I'm trying to get my head around it to understand if it is possible for me to apply for this new digital nomad visa. I was working as an IE with a company from Czech Republic but then the war happened and I was forced to move to Georgia. So I still work with this company but I personally have no any legal entity. How would I apply for that visa: how would I prove I work for a company in CR and how should I or how can I continue working legally being in Spain (paying taxes, right?). I broke my brain already trying to figure this all out. Would be grateful for any clarification or information!
We are currently in Switzerland and considering a startup with HQs in both Switzerland and Spain. The biggest obstacle that Spain does not resolve with this is the Spanish language. You don't find any official information when searching in English. I'm contrast Switzerland has almost all official information (including laws) in English. How will Spain attract all those foreign talents and startups? You need funding and high fluency in Spanish to even be able to consider the move well informed.
YOu should not forget, that Spanish is one of he most spoken languages in the world. Many that e.g. do business with South Amercia are located in Spain
@@AskMeStartUp I am fully aware. My partner is from Latin America. Otherwise we would not even consider Spain at all. I do not see how that is likely changing my point. English is far more widely understood, and translations by the government are a minimum if they are serious about attracting outside talent. Also, keep in mind this is a law on startups. Founders from Latin America without finding will no be easily permitted into Spain. Once they reach funding they are less likely to move their startup to Spain if they already started elsewhere.

@@arnoudt I have to be honest, Switzerland is an exception, as they are business oriented, Spain isn^t there yet
