I recommend you in Almeria to go to "El quiosco de ciudad jardín", and "la Barraquilla de El Alquian".
And if you go back to Valencia, make a round of "all i pebres" in "El Palmar" island, perhaps the island with more restaurants per inhabitant and per square feet. It is a dish that can be eaten in tapa, but it will disappear soon because ales are disappearing.
Last but not least, go to the "feria del tomate del Perelló" any year. I think it is the best tomato all over the world, and you can eat it only there and nearby, and only in summer, and there is also special "Feria" tomato dishes, and not only salads, from restaurants in the zone.
Thank you for the tips!@@mitcoes
I write this comment because this morning a VERY annoying person has been sending me messages on WhatsApp asking me to enter the video and like it, promising me money if I did it, obviously I'll send it to hell. Most of the likes and subscribers are fake.
I'm also Spanish (SI SOY ESPAÑOS ESCRIVO ESTO PARA QUE VEAN QUE SE ESCRIVIR EN ESPAÑOL Y SE DE LO QUE HABLO JUSTO HAORA) everything in the video is a lie. Congratulations, you have my dislike and reported to RUclips for spam and attempted scam.
@@mitcoes aaaaa
We visited Bilbao and San Sebastián for the 1st time in Nov 2023 … the food was amazing as expected ... we getting too old for bar hopping Basque life … sometimes we just want a sit down quiet dinner 😅
haha
what your favorite place to live in Spain?@@spainrevealed
The production of this video was outstanding!!! A full visual menu along with a very interesting and informative narrative. Taking turns between you to narrate (with a different background each time) was also good on the senses, as it kept you alert and attentive to the information provided. Personally, I would also like to go to Jerez. The Flamenco museum also peaked my interest. Thanks for another awesome video and wishing you all a Feliz Año.
Thank you Gina!
Just returned from our first trip to Spain-thank you for your GREAT video introductions and suggestions! We went to Burgos in north central Spain expecially to see the Museum of Human Evolution (because of the ancient human remains in Atapuerca) and we were blown away-by that museum, the city museum, the Cathedral, just everything! Even Gaia a vegetarian restaurant across the plaza from our hotel Meson del Cid. The whole trip focused on antiquities and we were not disappointed-Madrid, Huelva, Sevilla, Barcelona, Segovia in ten days (not nearly enough). Rode trains mainly, had a home base in Madrid, ate great food, hot chestnuts on the Rambla in Barcelona- amazin trip. I need about 4 more trips with different themes! SPAIN IS AWESOME!
Me as a Spaniard living overseas about to move back in May watching what I can expect.
Great recommendations! Northern Spain is always a fantastic choice to visit and of course Spain is full of beautiful villages that are well worth visiting such as La Alberca, Trujillo, Altea, Puebla de Sanabria and many more.
Greetings and thanks for the video!! Enjoy this 2024!!
I’ve walked sections of the senda litoral and while it’s great for catching a sunset or sunrises, you still have to deal with lots of interference in terms of infrastructure. Coincidentally, there is a Camino de Santiago from Malaga heading north called the Camino mozárabe for those who want to actually get into the true Malaga and Andalusian countryside. Great video like always.
Northern Spain is often forgotten about and a lovely place. Of course, the weather isn't always great but there are many sights to see and it's less crowded. A more authentic experience too. I really like Fabada.
You guys are amazing, the images, beautiful, the editing, sharp... but nothing would ever work without the incredible screenplay that you develop! It is really something to admire! Congrats from Brazil!
Don't miss the beautiful and ancient town of Seron in Almeria Province about a one hour drive up the spectacular Andalusian mountains from Almeria city. The vistas are stunning and Seron is where the famous Serrano ham originated and still made today. There's a huge ham festival in the summer. It's a white town of silver cobblestone streets. Truly a Spanish treasure.
Thank you for the tip!`
I've driven across The Pyrenees many times over the years. Mind blowing. There's some great camp sites, some very basic but in spectacular settings. You'll have a great time.
Thank you for reigniting our Spain travel excitement! We can't wait to some several of the places you talked about!
Thank you guys, great video.
I went to Pontevedra when doing el Camino a Santiago, beautiful small town a surprise actually, I keep telling everybody that Pontevedra is the cleanest town / city javelin ever seen in my life.
wow, the work on the content quality is so much visible I feel your channel is becoming must-watch for me as a fresh immigrant in Spain!
thanks so much for your efforts!
My friend is going to Las Fallas this year with 80 yo parents with mobility issues. Also Barcelona, Madrid and London on the same trip. Wish them much luck. Happy safe travel.
Thanks, James and Yoly.
A wonderfully presented guideline for Spain in 2024. Jerez, Almeria and the Pyrenees all sound like great places to explore. I traveled through Jerez and Almeria on a road trip years ago and thought they were stunning.
Thank you Carmen. That sounds like an awesome road trip!
Feliz Año Nuevo - nice to have you back.
I just discovered your channel and now I am re doing my itinerary for my trip to Spain. Your video on the fast trains in Spain was very informative for me. Going to be watching all your videos. Cheers from Canada.
Welcome to the community!
I wish Northern Spain was warmer! We actually had our last 2023 and first 2024 trip in Spain. It was also our babymoon. It was amazing seeing a bit more of Andalucía. We stayed in Málaga and did day trips to Benalmádena and Granada. I simply love Spain ❤
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍Thanks a lot I´m from Malaga!!
Great one again… thank you for this video.. really stimulating for an other long trip in Spain!
Wow, great year ahead!
Hope to see you in Spain!
I leave to Spain on Friday! Incredibly excited, thank you for the new years updates!
Fantastic watch as always 👊🏿
Thankyou! I'm from Sydney and just spent six weeks in Spain in 2023 and it was wonderful - I still can't stop obsessing about it. I've already started a new list of places to visit "next time". (Although a 350 euro dinner might not be an option!!) I was lucky enough to visit some spots in the Spanish Pyrenees and would highly recommend it! So beautiful - you'll love it. Love watching your videos! Hasta pronto!
Thanks guys for a great video!!!
Thank you for sharing all this news! Although I'm from Spain I didn't know many of these things 😅 My Spanish students love your videos, so informative and useful when they visit Spain. I always recommend them to watch them before their trip.
Gracias por los videos. Vamos para España en Marzo y sus videos son muy informartivos y necesarios
Excited about ALL of IT! THANK YOU!
Great content and very informative, thank you 🙏🏼
Wonderful as always. Thank you!
I’m going to Santiago and other towns of the North in September this year. I’m so excited to finally being able to visit where my grandparents were from 🥹🥹🥹 first time in Spain too 🇪🇸 love your videos btw ❤
I'm spending 6 days in Granada for Easter and really looking forward not just to the parades but also to visiting the rural areas surrounding Granada. I'm then heading to Jerez and Cadiz for 3 days. The Flamenco museum will be on my list!
Going back this summer to do the first 120kms of the Camino Francés! Did the last 120 & loved it. Will be my 6th trip to Spain, & will follow 3 weeks of school in Marbella to write my DELE B1 exam!
This was your best video yet! Especially since I’m from Jerez and you’re focusing on my hometown.
This year we’ll be traveling from Texas 🤠, to Madrid, Valencia, Murcia and Jerez to see the fam!
Ole!
Wow, Bravo guys, this is a killer video, so well written and filmed. I love how you'll add some motion as you enter a shot...I think all your hard work over the years has made you real pros. Very cool to see.
Gracias, gracias gracias!
Had a wonderful trip in early December to your magnificent country. Madrid, Grenada, Valencia and Barcelona. Your Madrid guide was invaluable! Fast train from Madrid to Grenada was very pleasant and comfortable.
In Madrid, we found a casual tapas bar called Casa De Comidas D Diego. We sat in an outdoor vestibule and my wife ordered a beer and I ordered white wine and the waitress delivered what was obviously not white wine.
Because of your videos, I recognized it was a “vermouth” ! Instead of returning it, I tried it and it was great! It had a lemon twist and paired so well with the plate of olives.
Already planning a return trip and will definitely travel off season to Asturias!
thanks for information
i am glad that i found your channel, I was thinking of traveling to Spain the week proceeding easter. You have given me a lot of things to think about.
Great video guys! Good information!
Thank you for your video...we already explored Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona and Seville, next stop in two weeks is Valencia...hopefully we will get to explore north as well as there is so many amazing places to see in Spain.
James and Yoly, thanks for the update and for sharing. Asturias is stunning, I've only been there once but would highly recommend it as a place to add to your travel plans! Much ❤ to you both!
Asturias is wonderful, as you say :)
I'll be so looking forward to your video of Almeria!
I'm walking the Camino Primitivo this year, which will start in Oviedo. Last year I talked the Invierno starting at Ponferrada, and it's a beautiful city.
Love it, thanks for the video!
Thank you guys, you are great!
Beautiful country 😊
I'm going to my friend's wedding in May, in Almeria where she grew up. Flying from Aus and listening to you guys first ❤
oh my gosh! So excited about your thoughts on visiting Almeria! We have dear family friends there! Just returned from Spain in October. Would love to return soon. Give your fans a heads up on your travels! My friends would likely love to assist! LOVE LOVE Almeria!
Oh my goodness I think you two have enticed me to make a third trip to Spain! Lots of great things happening especially with the train routes that will make it much easier.
Amazing... can't wait. Thank you James and Yoly 🎉!!
Very informative, entertaining and on top of that, beautiful locations to film 👌
Finally Almeria, after 4 years in BCN I moved there and it is very remote to all the other places you have reviewed. I can't wait for your recommendations.
Excited about the new Flamenco museum in Jerez. Would to visit on my next trip to Spain and also explore Malaga plus more! Thanks for your video!
Wonderful new video - thank you. Great information and enjoyable to watch. Production quality improved - nice! We're heading to Asturias and Galicia this spring, 2 areas we've not been to before. On places for you to go, have you thought about doing a trip to the Canary or Balearic Islands?
My family has already been to Poland and mom and sister to Portugal once.
Don’t know when we could visit Spain but can’t wait to go!👍
If you visit Jaen around May, you might want to take a side trip to Cordoba for their annual "Fiesta de Los Patio." Cordoba's famously beautiful, private home courtyards are open to the public. This year the event occurs May 2-12.
I've never been there around that time, but I do find Cordoba and Granada to be the most alluring areas of Spain.
(My ancestry for generations is in Galicia, but I'm more drawn to southern Spain.)
I booked my ticket yesterday. Can't wait!
Okay so now I have going to Spain on my 2024 plans!! Thank you guys
Great tips guys! 🎉
Another great video. Thanks so much for your videos, I'm really enjoying them and learning a lot. What is the weather like in March? I'm gonna be in Spain for a week and half. Thanks again!
We went to the western town thing when we visited Almeria (stayed in Roquetas del Mar). Nice day out and we were surprised by the saloon act singing an Aussie favourite ... "Waltzing Matilda".
Once again I have bookmarked several things for our next visit.
Thanks again for all your great videos.
You look stunning both of you.Such a good vibe❤️
Great video as always 😊
Nice video and videography (a little different from past efforts, but it works.) I dislike the camper vans too - but I am interested in your trip to the Pyrenees mountains. We did a tour from Barcelona up to Ax-les Thermes and Andorra a number of years ago in December and it was quite lovely. If possible, visit both France and Andorra when you do that trip (though Andorra seems more like an outlet shopping mall experience.) Be well and safe, have a wonderful 2024 and keep the videos coming. Love to see you guys pop up on RUclips every other weekend or so!!
Hi James and yoly great info. for my next travel to Spain in March 2024
We are going to Valencia and Madrid in April and would love to meet you both!
This is great stuff. We love your channel. We are going to Spain in 2025 and are thinking that the fast trains are the way to go for us. Coming from Australia, a little nervous about driving. So more train destinations please.
We are Paradores people too thanks to your Cuenca & San Estevo videos!! But we will stay open minded & look forward to your CV adventure in the Pyrenees! Really enjoyed the 2024 video! Thnx! 👍🏼
Good job guys .
Lots of beautiful places to see in Spain. I like that high speed rail is available in many parts of Spain as well as throughout Europe. I also like the fact that there are plans to phaseout short haul airline flights and instead make use of more environmentally friendly high speed rail. I only hope a similar move be made here in the USA.
Oh, Yoli! The expressiveness of your hands/fingers when you introduced the "flamenco" section of the video! While I love certain forms of dance, I don't pretend to be knowledgeable about flamenco. But ... O.M.G.!
My bucket list would be to drive along the Pyrenees as well, but I will be hitting the various Paradores that are up there along with Besalú, Castellfollit de la Roca, Bagergue, Andorra la Vella, Benasque, Torla-Ordesa, Aínsa, Ansó, and Canfranc. Second choice would be Lanzarote. Albarracín would probably be my third. Weekend trips for us will be Zamora, León, Valencia, and Alicante. So much to see and love in Spain!
Great idea! Maybe I'll manage to squeeze a Parador into the trip!
I went to Spain 3 times last year. Asturias was definitely my fave. Going to Malaga and Granada this year. Might try and fit in Galicia too😊
My son and I did the Camino del Norte last summer, the north of Spain is just gorgeous.
Gracias por el video! Voy a Malaga (la ciudad) este febrero y me gustaria probar la ruta en bici que mencionas
We are traversing the Pyrenees from Bilbao to Begur on the costa Brava staying here for a week via Ainsa and then back via Leila and Navara before travelling back to England via Bordeaux and Saumur in the Loire region, a three week journey in June, can’t wait
Oh I would love to go to Spain. My grandmother’s parents are from Spain. They came to Ellis Island in New York and moved to Texas. My grandmother was born after arriving in Texas. I wish I could go to Spain it would be awesome to visit where my grandparents are from. I also wish I was rich and my grandma still alive I’d take my family. Whoever visits Spain please enjoy your trip for my family and I 😊😉 btw @spainrevealed I love your video ❤ thank you thank you 🙏 I get to experience Spain through you 😊
I'm going back to La Rioja and Córdoba... Which are some of my favourite spots in Spain!!
Oh wow that’s great news about Ouigo train going to Alicante from Madrid as we are heading to Alicante in March 😊 all thanks to Spain Revealed I can’t wait to go back
I'm going to Barcelona in August I can't wait I'm extremely excited
Northern Spain is a must whenever I’m in the country. So easy to reach by train as well, it just makes sense.
Vigo and Mondariz Balneario are next! Thank you for the recommendations.
Planning a trip to Galicia, and will be sure to look for Bar Estrella in Pontevedra! Thanks for such a timely and enthusiastic video!
Thanks James and Yoli. Another great video! I will be visiting Madrid in March for the first time, and I wanted to ask you if is a good idea to do a day trip to Valencia? Cheers from Canada!!
Can anyone suggest any really good flamenco shows in or aroun Málaga? I'm going to Spain on Monday with my family. So excited. It's one of my favourite places to be. We're going to Málaga this time because it's warm there. We have snow and very low temperatures here where we live.
Great video as siempre! I am a Brit , who lived near The Pyrenees on the French side . Love them and got to do an amazing train trip from Bcn with Rodalies to Latour de Carol , in the heart of the Pyrenees . Just stunning and for 12€ !!!
I now live in Gran Canaria and have asked Yoly on Insta when you are coming here . We have a little language school in Las Palmas and a nice room to rent , so ? ☺☺☺
I'm most excited this year to be learning Spanish, I hope to go there again next year. I visited last year in my van (no aircon) but I arrived during the heatwave and had to stay in Northern Spain 😂 Which I loved! I'm excited to come back in 2025!
I ENJOY HEARING BOTH OF YOU AGAIN. YOU SOUND MARVEEELOUS🥰
GOD BLESS YOU.
I’m excited to move to Spain in March
Yea trains! super excited.
Will be in Spain in less than a month. I should really get my itinerary together for Madrid and Barcelona.
Hello James and Yoli. Love your channel and it is a terrific resource and I know it is going to make our trip to Spain more enjoyable!! Is it possible for you or Yoli to recommend a place to see traditional Flamenco? We will be in Madrid for 2 nights, Valencia for 2 nights (doing the paella here!) and Barcelona for 3 nights. April 29th - May 5th. Thank you!!
Great....now I have to add the Malaga coastal path to the 100 destinations I already have on the Spanish bucket list!
I thoroughly enjoy your informative channel. I will be traveling to Spain and other European cities in the very near future. Question:
Years ago, I travelled on Eurail and found I could use the Information Kiosk, designated by 'I' at major train stations to make reservations for hotels and train travels. This was years ago. Do those Information Kiosks still exist for travelers to make hotel/pensione/accommodations bookings upon arrival? I found them to be very useful which gave me lots of flexibility with my itinerary instead of booking ahead with fixed accommodation.
It sounds good and a visit to Portugal would be fun too!😊 wow! A lot of great info that You both gave out!🇺🇸🍀🍀
Love you, you’re amazing
Now you have got me even more excited for my solo Spain trip in April, Revisiting Madrid as i loved it so much with an overnight in Cordoba.
Was the end of your clip recorded in Jardín del Príncipe de Anglona?
Yes, it was recorded in that lovely little garden. Have a great trip to Spain!
Is the Botin restaurant in Madrid worth it? If yes, any suggestions on what to order for late lunch/early dinner? Thanks!
