I didn't know that was what's it called "vocal fry" but I was constantly annoyed by it!!! I've really have only heard it from women (work with someone that does it) and it drives me crazy lol (personal problem I know but...lol)
Zyhir Hope OF age 20 1 NR* Low-A Jose De Paula OF age 20 2 2 High-A Dalton Rushing C/LF age 24 3 1 Triple-A Jackson Ferris LHP age 21 4 NR* Double-A Alex Freeland SS age 23 5 NR Triple-A Dalton kind of old as are James Outman (27) and Andy Pages (24) but most disappointing is Outman. Eriq Swan is 23 years old - River Ryan & Kyle Hurt both RHP are already 26 and 27 years old respectively.
So he is saying that Hope will be a top 10 prospect on his list and Ferris top 50? That trade of Busch from a year ago is about to look really really really good for the Dodgers.
This guys voice is cranked to "100% on the "condescending smug" dial. Info is interesting. Dial back on the "insecure-condescending-smug" and you'll be awesome!
Zyhir Hope is in single A : @5:55 Not bad for an 11th round draft pick Outfielder Josue De Paula and catcher/outfielder Dalton Rushing each expectedly made the top three, but the top Dodgers prospect as tabbed by BP is outfielder Zyhir Hope.
The Boston Red Sox shipped their No. 4 overall prospect Kyle Teel to the Chicago White Sox on Dec. 11 as part of a package that brought mound ace Garrett Crochet to Boston. The move was a big one for the Red Sox pitching staff, but left Boston's catching pipeline depleted. Conor Wong, the Red Sox incumbent behind the plate, rates well below average in most defensive metrics for catchers. So Boston might take Cartaya especially since he knows and has caught Walker Buehler in the past.
Rushing is the most important as he is needed to catch 60 games. He's a great hitter and a utility player who happens to be a catcher. There are very few good young catchers in MLB. Will Smith needs time off if he is going to hit well later in the season and endure for most of his contract. I'm most interested in how Pages and Rushing are fit into the talent heavy 2025 Dodgers. But I'm apparently alone in believing that the Dodgers without Teoscar were good to go in the outfield.

I wonder if Friedman/Gomes ever considered a Lux-Cartaya package for Luis Robert Jr. or any other player? I don’t covet LRJr, like most other people but his name has come up so much I just thought why not? Also, how great was it to give Lux new life and opportunities in Cincinnati rather than with the White Sox, Rockies, Athletics, or Marlins? Liz gets to play closer to home and with a young, up & coming group of players. He’s not mired in a wasteland with Miguel Vargas or the other organizations mentioned.
Terrible pick. No power, very reliant on speed. He is looking like a Dee Gordon/Terrance Gore type prospect. What makes the Kendall George pick even worse is literally the pick right after Kendall George was Kevin Mcgonigle who has now become one of the top SS prospects in the game. Terrible miss by the dodgers. Especially considering SS is a position we really need. Kevin Mcongigle was such an easy lay up for this organization and yet they couldn’t see it. Decided to pick George(under slot)to spread money to the other rounds and players who don’t even look really promising.
@@hepatitiscyalater7269 Yeah, it sure sounded like a reach when I first read his scouting report upon being drafted. A 1-tool guy with weak showing in the other tools department
@@hepatitiscyalater7269 Right, Dodgers wanted Thomas White whom the Marlins took right before, but when Marlins took White they decided to just get someone to sign cheap to save money to get higher upside guys later.
Dude the vocal fry is unbelievable for a guy 1:40

Why didn't the Dodgers trade Cartaya rather than DFA him ?
probably did and nobody wanted him - he has not hit past 2 years - should have traded him away 3 years ago -

Still could be dealt technically. They have 7 days from when he is DFA’d
Cartaya proving prospect are suspect… unfortunate.
Once Smith got that extension cartaya likely pouted and declined unfortunately.
Well he's the twins problem now

He sounds like the Philadelphia DJ, John "Zoo Keeper" DeBella...
Anyone have any thoughts on Kendall George?
