Skinwalker Hunt is a horror themed hunting game from the creator of Witch Hunt. Main focus of the game is on exploration, non-linear gameplay, and atmosphere.

For a fairly simple game loop, I'm finding it really quite satisfying.
Enough that despite 100% achievements, I keep coming back to play it more, trying harder difficulties and such.
I really like this incarnation (hunting points, meat piles, etc), and I really like the way that each map feels just a little bit different, but not enough to invalidate your developed skill at the game.
Hope we see a winter map next! Someone suggested that in steam discussion posts and in a comment on one of the previous videos.. Seems like a really good idea for bringing back the cold feature (shivering, stamina loss), with things like campfires and maybe cold weather gear that can be found to counter it.
I appreciate the little editing details Fooster gets into when making his videos, your Echoing voice 30:10 at the well is so Subtle but Immersive, its Very impressive 10/10

You forgot to put totem to save progress. And don't forget to use your meat for huge meat pile (requires 10 meat), bear traps and cook it when you have lots of it.

My god, I jumped really hard a few times watching you. Hahaha... That cabin at 28:30 is from another game I've seen. It was winter and you play as a little boy whose mom is a little loopy and the dad keeps the door locked. But you have to go get wood from the back of the house and theres a figure watching you in the distance. I just cant remember the name of it. Its a horror game as well.
It's also the Cabin from S.P.A.T. The game where the swamp is so swamp. Check out Foosters S.P.A.T episode 2 around the 12 minute mark.
Btw, according to the lore, one of the most typical signs that a skinwalker is nearby, is that it goes silent. Like dead silent

That is a common thing with quite a few predatory cryptids.
I don’t know if that happens with run of the mill predators as well, but it is a good general rule: if everything is too quiet, get out of there as quickly as possible.
It would be so freaking cool to find a old spear or a bow to use as a silent weapon, absolutely loving the game and the videos you’re awesome.
Been meaning to pick this game up. I have another game from this dev Witch Hunt which is basically this game but set in New England in the 18th century I believe maybe late 17th. For what it is it is extremly atmospheric and tense and actually has a lot going for it.

Dont shoot the goat! go to it and feed it and follow it to loot, you can move the dark spirits by shooting and then run , the spirit will go to where you shot.

I also have read up on supernatural stuff, very interesting for a load of old bollocks, but you won't find me messing with any of it, hahahaha. The Belleville map (yup, the one from Witch Hunt) has been added I think sometime recently.
If you are in the mood for more of this bottom-clenching terror, that map is absolutely excellent.

That is a Wendigo, I can tell since I am very into different mythical creatures, the Wendigo is one of them. Wendigos look somewhat like a deer, while Skinwalkers are these beast with a human-like figure.

The thing is that the Skinwalker cryptid originates from Skinwalker ranch in Utah and its only famous for its one and only Skinwalker sightings, paranormal activity, alien sightings, and the portals that tear into another dimension that the Skinwalker cryptids come from, I'm not the person who believes all of this but some of it I have a hard time deciphering how all of it happens and some it even makes sense , but I do think there is an explanation for this but for now it is unknown, all of this is true but believe what you want to I always say.
