This game premise is absolutely incredible. Unethical experimentation to determine properties, operating outside and above the law, finding things that are so far outside of our frame of reality... I would LOVE to see a TV show about this. This SCP place is the epitome of "Ends justify the means".
The point you made about D Class personnel having a shot at freedom is the foundation's way of manipulating the Convicts into doing what the Foundation needs from them. It's all about manipulation. They simply want to hold the carrot in front of the personnel's face instead of issuing death threats which could be counterproductive, to say the least.

The foundation likely uses amnestics to wipe the memory of the events from peoples minds before releasing them, the foundation commonly uses amnestics on witnesses after containing anomalies to avoid widespread panic about the anomalies the foundation deals with
24:15 They wont know about it. One thing the SCP Foundation does, is wipe your memory. Its called Amnistics or something. They use it very regularly to clear their own personnel and D-Classes.
24:18 the foundation has an scp that is capable of creating an memory erasing effect on humans so they actively collect it to use on people who have come into contact with an scp so they don't tell the world
Honestly speaking if some random person tell you about stuff like this would you believe them cuz I wouldn't since it just sounds like the rantings of a madman
Hey IGP if you have ever read anything in the SCP case files any inmates that "MANAGE" to serve their sentence and survive and are promised freedom are usually sent to under go a psychological analysis to determine which anmnestic is to be given. They are usually give a Class A or Class B anmnestic depending on the severity of the task they were issued and under go a psychological analysis to see if the issued anmnestic worked.
The thing about following through with releasing the D-class upon a finished task is easily fixed. They got a vast supply of Amnestics just for these kind of situations.
Please make more videos of this game IGP! We love the new SCP games especially your latest vids bro! Keep it up my dude can't wait for the continuation of these videos!
Honestly still don't understand the SCP world but I'm really enjoying it, lots and lots and lots of stories to be told and monsters or whatever they are, plus I'm really strating to like IGP's stuff
This game is very good, I hope there will be more content made for it in the future. This idea works so well there will always be new papers to put in archives.
"Who's to stop them from telling if the D-class actually gets out?" There's ways to erase memory within the SCP foundation. It's standard procedure when civilians come into contact with the anomalous, or when researchers' minds are exposed to dangerous SCPs or other cognitohazards. They call them amnestics.
I.G. You forget that the Foundation has way's of altering or outright removing people's memories through various means. Hypothetically, if one of the D-Class did some how manage to make it to freedom, and didn't want to continue working with the Foundation, they could easily take care of the memories pertaining to them.
10:25 First he doubted himself. That first puzzle piece was not clearly top left. Then he called himself a genius. Bro I love burning hours watching your vids.

As a huge sci-fi and Biology nerd, and as an overly curious individual, I would LOVE to work as a scientist in an SCP facilities, even if I would probably die, I'd be chill as long as it was a cool SCP and not one that just causes a heart attack or something similar, it's not worth it in that case.

The thing about the SCP foundation is that they have these things called anesthetic not related to the anesthetic in real life which erases peoples memories and in some instances can make them more suggestible, then they may be reintroduced to society.
I’m pretty sure any job at the SCP foundation is immediately a full time job and I also would like to mention that it doesn’t matter if you are a Class D personnel or a Scientist at any of the Foundations, your job is going to be full time and probably for the rest of your life so the title is not entirely surprising.
Some jobs last 3 weeks. You lasted 15 days. But it was hard. In those conditions, I would say something *** and make time to find a sanity pill or something. Great work through.
To answer your question about people remembering: SCP frequently uses amnestics to induce memory loss in individuals. Most commonly used on D-class but there are cases where it is used on scientists and guards to help them forget traumatic experiences and allow them to continue to function at the foundation. There is in fact SCP's that literally require those who work with them to undergo regular amnestics treatment simply due to the psychological horror they inflict upon individuals. All that being said: I doubt they let D-class go. Even if you survive your contract period, they probably just hit you with amnestics and groundhog day your shit. Act like its your first day again and throw you back to the wolves.
The writing in this was amazing and the anomaly is great. Dr. Hamm basically sounding like Rod Serling worked really well. It also learned some good lessons from CONTROL presentationally.

Awesome video, your editing and personality makes these awesome games even better. Can't wait for the next one. EDIT: This was written before hearing about the floor ramen lol.
So, I have a perfect explanation for the situation being described at 24:27 . Yes, the inmates are sent for 30 days or however long they've been sent to the foundation for, but the foundation has access to Amnestics. Yes, an inmate might get to that point where they're like "great! I get to go free" then the foundation gives them amnestics for what they've experienced and they say it's alright and afterwards they can claim their things and go back into society. But the foundation has different classes of amnestics, they have some that wipe the past 30 days from your memory and they can subliminally insert things around you thinking that you have just left the courtroom and are about to get away from your murder charge scot free. It's an endless cycle until the D class is either crippled/destroyed or is beyond the aid of amnestics for their now psychological problems.
Well, all D-class can be free if they served as what they have deal with foundation. There are only two ending, first one is death. The second one is served and alive and will have a level A mind clean thingy like Man in Black and forgot everything even the day u born(as I remember), but only given new identity, memory and background.

First of all, mostly, they are NOT getting out. But if D class IS let out, SCP uses amnestics, pills, which they use on civils as well, when they see anomaly. They make you forget. :)
I’m not sure if this game came out before series 8 of the foundation’s articles were released because as of right now SCP-7457’s article says that the SCP is a series of cave paintings with memetic effects. If that’s the case then that’s completely understandable.

Also, IGP. Per the lore - if a D class survives their 30 days they can be given a mind wipe and released, given a mild wipe (for the effects) and be offered a perm job at SCP, or be completely wiped and pressed into another 30 days as they would not remember the prior 30.
24:23 they have a means to remove all memories of being in and all knowledge about the SCP foundation, they also remove memories of staff they exile when one does something they shouldn't have done and those locals who witnessed any SCP events.

Hello everyone in today's vlog I'm becoming a janitor at this cool place that say S C P what ever that means but let's go see what the place looks like
One Class D personal are released if they survive the experience, they are given class A amnestics to either erase or rewrite memories. I would assume rewrite as it would be insane to put a death row inmate back into the world with the same mind and mentality prior to incarceration tho. I read a lot of SCP stuff so its my assumption based on that
Assuming the D class personnel survived long enough to be rewarded a reduced Sentence or full pardon, they would probly be given those Amnistics and be placed on some sort of permenent house arrest or witness protection thing. The mortality rate of D class personnel is horrific though and I do not expect hardly any have gotten to have happy endings away from the SCP

Damn I'm so sad it didn't continue. That is some great show don't tell story telling. The content of SCP is getting SO good and it's source is basically endless. A short on the build a bear would be cool and sad at the same time.
The SCP universe has so so much potential in terms of games or ever movies. Just about each SCP itself deserves one.
This game premise is absolutely incredible. Unethical experimentation to determine properties, operating outside and above the law, finding things that are so far outside of our frame of reality... I would LOVE to see a TV show about this. This SCP place is the epitome of "Ends justify the means".
This game does really sell the SCP the same way a Lovecraftian horror should be sold.
So good.
11:29 That commitment level is... good job, man! Worst I've done (that won't get deleted) is playdoh
Dude, Love your Content! You and Icy are a perfect pair for this game.
Also, I was messing around in Containment Breach, about 5 minutes of wandering about I fell into one of 106s games, survived and ended up in the Heavy Containment zone. The room with the medkit, battery and LVL 3 card.
So, Thank you. Your content was the reason I came about this nifty shortcut.
Keep it coming!
12:11
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Ray finally gets some reputation!! He deserves it after all.
We need more of dr.hamm, and maybe him and 049 interacting with each other more. They're clearly good friends (before the incident)
your running ,emotional commentary is always worth a laugh. i'm 60 and don't play video games any longer but you have inspired me to maybe start playing horror games for the first time. keep up the reviewing.
The foundation likely uses amnestics to wipe the memory of the events from peoples minds before releasing them, the foundation commonly uses amnestics on witnesses after containing anomalies to avoid widespread panic about the anomalies the foundation deals with
30:58 the way my ears perked up just now, holys🔥🔥🎵who was cookin??
Honestly, amazing visual storytelling, almost as good the auditory storytelling.
WHOO! I was hoping you'd play the full version! Definitely gonna give this one a try my self once I'm done watching your run.
24:15 They wont know about it. One thing the SCP Foundation does, is wipe your memory. Its called Amnistics or something. They use it very regularly to clear their own personnel and D-Classes.
24:18 the foundation has an scp that is capable of creating an memory erasing effect on humans so they actively collect it to use on people who have come into contact with an scp so they don't tell the world
go up
The SCP Foundation doesn't use an SCP to induce memory loss they have what is called amnestics which produces memory loss.
@@i.e.benediktazurnieden6475 I think he was referring to scp 3000 which produces a slime and is one of the main components of the anaesthetic stuff
Now this is the SCP game I've been waiting for.
The thing about following through with releasing the D-class upon a finished task is easily fixed. They got a vast supply of Amnestics just for these kind of situations.
It's always great to be lectured in the games you play on top of everywhere else
The actual saying is we die in the dark, so they can live in the light.
I.G. You forget that the Foundation has way's of altering or outright removing people's memories through various means. Hypothetically, if one of the D-Class did some how manage to make it to freedom, and didn't want to continue working with the Foundation, they could easily take care of the memories pertaining to them.
12:14 the second name from the bottom is “Edith L Finch” and I think it’s a nod to What Remains of Edith Finch!
I wanna see more of this. It opens up a whole new level of possibilities
10:25 First he doubted himself. That first puzzle piece was not clearly top left. Then he called himself a genius. Bro I love burning hours watching your vids.
Pretty sure IGP is a SCP. He has survived in so many games after so many terrible decisions..
oh sure, when Dr Bright tries to make SCP merch, "there's no demand" and it's "Unmarketable"

Finally a properly immersive decent SCP game!
yeah i love picking up trash
@@piercemccauley7079 haha 😅
As a huge sci-fi and Biology nerd, and as an overly curious individual, I would LOVE to work as a scientist in an SCP facilities, even if I would probably die, I'd be chill as long as it was a cool SCP and not one that just causes a heart attack or something similar, it's not worth it in that case.
Congrats on the new job. Hopefully the facility won't be as creepy moving forward
tysm for posting on my bday igpp- youve been one of my favorite ytubers to watch when im bored and youve shown me that someone like you can be scared of nothing but everything at the same time and it has inspired me to strive to not be scared of my fears, thank you for being the best person in my life
The thing about the SCP foundation is that they have these things called anesthetic not related to the anesthetic in real life which erases peoples memories and in some instances can make them more suggestible, then they may be reintroduced to society.
Amnestics not anesthetic
I’m pretty sure any job at the SCP foundation is immediately a full time job and I also would like to mention that it doesn’t matter if you are a Class D personnel or a Scientist at any of the Foundations, your job is going to be full time and probably for the rest of your life so the title is not entirely surprising.
SCP jobs are usually temporary and for life at the same time.
Some jobs last 3 weeks. You lasted 15 days. But it was hard. In those conditions, I would say something *** and make time to find a sanity pill or something. Great work through.
Not surprised. IGP is a cuthulu magnet, I feel he is there just to be observed!
Igp was always a Cthulhu magent, if he liked it or not
To answer your question about people remembering: SCP frequently uses amnestics to induce memory loss in individuals.
This video is absolutely incredible. Nothing could beat it.
One would figure after all the SCP games he has played, he would have realized that the Foundation has memory wiping drugs.
I'd like to think that IGP stands for "intoxicated gaming person"
Definitely want to see more of this series.

I knew SCP was a thing, but didn't know what it was. When i started watching your channel 2ish weeks ago, I fell in love with this shit. Awesome video, your editing and personality makes these awesome games even better. Can't wait for the next one. EDIT: This was written before hearing about the floor ramen lol.
IGP: "Ooh! We're going to Zone B on Friday"
In my head
Unnamed Employee: "Oh god! Not Zone B!"

There's some interesting references in this game to the film Await Further Instructions, Death Stranding and Control. Neat stuff!
I would work there in a heartbeat if it meant I got to spend time scp-999!
Give me scp-469 and it's a done deal. 🫡
If that’s the case then that’s completely understandable.
rip
Best intro I've seen in a game in a while!

the one thing i hate about watching playthroughs, even when ive never played myself, is feeling smarter than the player im watching T-T bro went through the first five minutes asking questions his HUD gave the answers to xD
IGP, at 24:24 the answer is amnestics such as the ones collected from scp-3000

*Gets preachy about pollution and Glabal Worming*
*Burns tires and toxic waste out of a giant f-ing smokestack*
This Dr. Hamm is a real rocket surgeon...
SCP stuff makes my day so much better. Hope you play more of this, if it's popular enough to warrant that.
I think working there would become just as tedious as a normal job. When I was 15 I started working at a pizza parlor and thought it was the greatest. Pizza, for lunch, for breakfast and of course dinner. It only took three months before I hated the very sight of it and started saving for college.
Love how the way they "get rid" of waste that was so bad is to burn it and pump the smoke in the air..👏👏 smart lol

9:36 Peep: Stewart Moore's wubba lubba dud dud.. nice
"Who's to stop them from talking?", the Foundation uses drugs called Amnestics to erase the memories.

First
Yes you are!
You are!
You are indeed first
Yes

I Love IGP's Comedy
Sees 1 to many Handsome Characters
IGP: "I think were all Vampires"
LMAO and just Random Ramen Noodles story stuff like that makes it even Better
that damn beeper being the same note as the start of runaway, plus starting at a similar tempo threw me off so hard every time
"People entering SCP-7457 will suffer varying degrees of psychological stress within an acute period"
Dude, maybe it's because you make your test subjects sleep in a broom closet and eat burgers off the floor.
"what's gonna stop them from talking about all of this after they are released"?
well, the answer to that is Amnestics
simply put, the foundation can make on forget everything they have ever done in their life and release them into the world with the proper preparations
Amnestics go from spray cans that make you forget everything you have done in for the last few days to injections that make you forget who you are, what have you done until now or how did you get where you are currently, another can make you forget a specific portion of your memories and such

DUDE YOU ARE THE PRISONER YOUR GETTING 30 DAYS FOR FREEDOM YOURWATCHING YOURSELF AT NIGHT
Funny thing about that speech at the end from Hamm is that he is later killed by scp 049, and not whilst running away from the anomaly like he told all the people in the zoom call, but whilst sitting with it and talking to it.
