@@phoenix-nc9vn I'm late just like u 👍
I use chunking in the morning by telling my mind "5 more minutes of sleep won't harm" lol
I used to do that, as well. I started to learn by experience that doing so will result in a restart to the whole REM sleep cycle and screw up your body's routine. Just wake up when your body naturally tells you to, even if it's an hour before your alarm is set. The exception is being awoke by a noise, or to pee, then you can go back to sleep.
Space Boy Productions I like that OP was just being funny but you dropped some knowledge bomb nevertheless. That makes sense and it will be something that we can use to not sabotage our time.
Space Boy Productions wait is that why when I wake up naturally after 9 hours of sleep but then go back to sleep I can sleep another whole 9 hours if I’m not woken up by anything?
@@anamartinez7006 I think that's sleep deprivation
iAdamus hmm .... probably lol
If I lose motivation and sometimes feel like it's too hard, I always say to myself:
"Its not supposed to be easy, otherwise everyone else would be able to, so why not make myself a part of that 1%"
True motivation is what you need to do a lot of things motivation is pretty important

congratulations!!
That's true if you believe that your gonna do it later then you will do it later, it's better to do it now.
Congratulations !! Big up patrick
What exactly did you do to lose weight, I wanna do it too.
Give us some tips broo
Great video!
1- breaking down big goals into small ones
2- believing that you can accomplish your goals
3- believe that you have tons of willpower
4- change identity. Don’t identify with the bad habit.
5- think more long term and general concerning goals.
Thank You
Absolute thanks.

Note to myself: Have confidence in yourself you can do anything
1. Take a large task and break it down into tiny pieces.
2. The more confident you are, the less willpower it will require
3. Belief that you have a lot of willpower
4. Have and identity that aligns with your goals
5. Use a high-level thinking
Decode Channel Thank you

Thank you for this.
1. Chunking
2. Increase your confidence
3. Change how you view willpower
4. Change your identity
5. Think high level thoughts
there's a summary at the end tho :))
Thanx bro
Turjn S. I'm way too lazy to do this, but you should put timestamps in this, too. Then, this will be perfect :)
Thanks I didn't have the willpower to watch it all. Might of lost some I originally had
Thx
The tiles aren't self explanatory enough to me though...
Instead of spending your time thinking about things, just do them, one at a time.
I have a nasty habit of thinking "i should do this and that today", which increases my anxiety because the brain feels overwhelmed with pending tasks.
I've been working on substituting these thoughts with "first, i'm doing only this, even if it's only for 5 minutes". Besides these tips, it's been working so far.
Focus on just one task and work on it until completion, then move onto the next
So true
It took my whole willpower to finish this video 💀😭
I use this at the gym a lot. on the treadmill i usually go 40 minutes on max incline. i start off by telling myself that i only need to do 20 minutes but i say this to myself. i was able to lose 27 pounds in the last 4 months!!!
Sorry your name was to perfect not to do that lmao...
But congrats on the weight loss buddy!!
Hmmmm. I like your handle. Very linear!

HELL YEAH YOU DO YOU!!!♡♡♡
Every morning :
I will sleep for another 1 hours ( oh, i gonna be late for class)
chunking - 5 mins and i will wake up, 5 more mins , 5 more ....

Being able to do this 24 times a day is probably why I'm not getting anything done.
lol lol... so funny

Yes if you wanna sleep more that would work? There is nothing wrong with chunking it is doing its job

This video reaffirms my goals and my efforts. Turns out I am mostly already on the right track and just have to stay consistent and do more higher thinking.
Thanks for the insightful video!
I've been dealing with depression since a young child. and it's been a battle having/keeping will power and having that confidence to exceed my goals. but instead of needing to change it having to change. because I always say that.....I want to change. I deserve love and happiness and want my light back. hell, we all deserve love and happiness. thanks for the tips and will definitely be using them. especially the first one when studying.
I do this every morning with my alarm..."OK, just five more minutes" and it works fine, I can do it for hours !
High level thinking is like the vision behind why you should do the habit. So key, thanks for the course loving it.
Michael Lost hi
why can't I go to the gym? Because I can't afford for it. Why can't I afford for it? Because my salary isn't enough. Why am I in a job with low salary? Because I didn't study enough. And there come the regrets. There are always exceptions and there are many.
Theurgy i know your frustration, start at home download an app to manage it i have a list of exercises i do everyday after work, minimium of 3 sets an exercise and have a goal to reach by end of week

I never thought about willpower being "limited" or "unlimited" before. I just saw it like a feeling. A feeling like happiness. their is not a "limited" or "unlimited" supplies of happiness.
Oh I hate it when I go against it because I feel VERY disappointed in myself. Going against it doesn't last long.
4:48 the brain doesn't undertand the "no", so if you say I'm not a smoker he focus on the smoker, as if I tell you don't immagine a pink cow you immediatly immagine a pink cow.
It's better to say in a positive way like "I'm an healty person".
Agreed

But when you said pink cow I didn’t think anything
Yes you are right.
If you said black cow I would have thaught about it. Idk whats a pink cow

I'm simply amazed at the content your putting out here. Now, whenever I see a new video from you, I watch it.
I actually use all of these daily and it’s what gets me through my days. I know I need to improve my diet and lessen screen time to improve myself further. Great video guy
thank you for uploading this. you've changed my life
I really like you focus on changing our words, thoughts and perceptions. I voice this time and time again on my channel about the power of our own perceptions and how this impacts our behaviours and goals. High-level thinking and that concept of understanding WHY you are doing what you are doing really is key to developing willpower. Really love this, thanks for a great video!
i wish the trending page was filled with videos like that... imagine how much that would improve everyone's life! i hope you keep making this kind of content, it inspires smaller youtubers like myself to keep working on our content as well! 💪

Funny how this works;
just by believing we have more willpower we will have more willpower.
By believing we don't have more willpower we will have not more willpower.
The power of choice of how to shape your own reality goes deep.

Leto85 and the solutions bn within ourselves,we Kp blaming our surrounding.
In middle school we were taught a poem and it's quite lengthy to type out but I never forgot it and I'm almost 45 now. But the last sentence was, "similar to the fellow who wins, is the fellow who thinks he can". It was about the power of our thoughts and if you think you are defeated before you even start, then you will be.
Affect Effected That sounds beautiful! And so full of truth.
Would you mind typing the poem? I would like to read it.
Leto85 on the same page as the one you have on our page
Hi Improvement Pill! I bought a special notebook for your courses, I already wrote 30 pages for the Tamed course, writting almost every sentence you say. I'll be starting the Bee Friend course once i'm done! Your course helped me so much. I first used the techniques for smaller habits, like drinking a cup of water first thing on the morning, and I saw how automacity and willpower are real! Currently I'm a replacing masturbation in excericse. I'm a week in, and I use everything I've learned. I can't thank you enough for this amazing content and videos, for how straight to the point you are and how motivational this whole channel is. Thank you!

Omg, My will power is extremely strong, since 8th grade. I was depressed in 8th grade, i would strongly tell my I wasnt depressed when id breakdown. Im just going thru a sad moment. By me telling myself this, it cured my depression very quickly, and i never knew I was depressed till i look back at it. Telling yourself things like that, anything is possible, and im only 15
D Savage if you were able to cure your depression this easily then you might didn’t have it in the first place. Did you self-diagnose or was diagnosed professionally by a psychologist?

Awesome video. The best advice is the advice you recognize and have experienced working before.
This video made me aware of 2 things that I use in combination.
1. Low thresholds. You call it chunking, I call it taking the first step om a march.
2. High Level Thinking. You use a vision or a high level goal to motivate you to take that first, tiny step.
Thanks for a great video.
How you summarize it at the end of the video is actually make life easier❤️
The problem with chunkier is after finishing small tasks it feels like you finished the job and you no longer want to do it anymore
Magd Nusair i use this technique at work for year or something. I think. Just one more. After that i think same way because i know i can continue tomorow but when i continue tomorow i need todo more. It's called balancing your workdays or to today what you dont want todo tomorow.

Chunking really helps me with my workout. Especially when I increase the weight. It's psychologically better not to count 15 times when you make a repetition/exercises but it's much more effective to count 3 times until 5.
100 sit ups seem like a lot. But 4 times 25 sound easier.
