@@TheDIYCabinGuy C'était l'outil oscillant, merci ! Je ne connaissais pas. Ma cabane serait dans mon jardin dans le Var :) C'est surtout les plots de fondation qui m'inquiètent (terrain caillouteux en pente) et encore une fois bravo pour ton travail c'est vraiment bien fait et expliqué ! :)
@@romainm1820 est ce difficile d’obtenir un permis en France pour faire ce genre de construction ? De rien, je suis content que ça puisse aider du monde, c’est vraiment le but !
@@TheDIYCabinGuy C'est compliqué si tu construis au-dessus de 20m2 parce qu'il faut que ta demande de permis de construire soit validée. Moi ça serait 10m2 alors c'est une demande préalable et pas un permis, + facile à obtenir. Voilà :) tu es français avant de vivre aux US ? J'ai vécu à Boston aussi.
@@romainm1820 oui je viens de la région parisienne, j’ai eu l’occasion de faire un échange aux Texas avec mon école d’ingénieur en France puis je ne suis jamais revenu. Maintenant je vis en Caroline du nord mais j’aimerais bien revenir vivre pas loin des alpes un jour pour que nos enfants puissent vivre en France. Ça serait cool de construire/ se faire construire une maison type chalet mais je pense que les règles et démarches sont sûrement un peu plus compliqués qu’ici.

Is your stain just stain or something that protects the wood from rot/insects?
Stain mixed with outlast NBS 30, supposed to keep insects away. Was recommended from local mill where I got the siding from
You should put can or led lights in the soffit. That would make it pop.

You mean a gap between the wall and siding?
