  • Hey! My cats are still not doing great with each other. Getting his tooth pulled really seemed to affect Henry. Multiple times I have been recommended using calming cat collars on both of my adult cats and finally we decided to try it.
It's a bit hard to say how much they are helping, but it seems like they have at least helped a little bit. Henry, the cat that went to the vet, is more willing to come downstairs and do his normal cat things after wearing the collar for a couple of days. Marvin is harder to read. He has always seemed mostly like himself aside from fighting with Henry.
We will continue to use them for a while and hopefully they will help us get back to some sort of normal. I have heard of a spray that might help too so that might be my next adventure with all of this. Let me know if that worked for you!

Has anyone tried calming cat collars before? How did they work for you?

Wow Moriah this is so weird! I’ve never heard of such a thing for cats who were so close before surgery. I feel your pain of seeing the two brothers fight like this. Wishing all of you the best of luck! 💝

Thanks Carissa. It’s been so strange and honestly heartbreaking. I’d love for them to get along again someday, but I just hope we can at least get to a point where they won’t fight every time they see each other. We have been doing our best to keep them separate which is mostly working out ok. Cats are just so weird!!
